View Full Version : An Appeal For Prayer

Asking for your prayers if you know and serve Jesus Christ, as I return to battle with the Beast this Wednesday in my four year land rights battle for having maintained my own pasture land, cut firewood, and maintained my historic private access road in 2003, all exempt maintenance under state law approved by Department of Natural Resources, but prosecuted ex post facto by the county after the statute of limitations had expired, for my refusal to pay five figures in extortion and protection racketeering and forfeit 50-80% of my land absent the required compensation, as "environmentally constrained". "Wetlands" have been overlaid totally ex post facto, my deed has been clouded and slandered illegally, and I have already spent 60 days in jail for completely bogus "contempt" charges which fit no statutory or other definition, but the remaining two of five (the other three were thrown out) are consistently denied hearing in the appellate courts because the judge threw me in jail stating I had no right of appeal and violating every due process protection which ever existed.
This is my appeal hearing for a misdemeanor conviction with a bail of $100,000 cash no bond, (for an offense with a maximum fine of $1,000), obtained by blatant fraud and a kangaroo trial Hitler would be proud of, in a court which acted wholly without jurisdiction at least three different ways, where my I was denied all witnesses for the defense, where the decision will either set me free or send me to jail for 90 more days.
My appeal brief includes some 108 assignments of error, nearly all of which are reversible, and I am also arguing my collateral attack at this time on jurisdictional issues separately, (the timing is not by choice but ordered by the court, perhaps to extinguish my only other remedy concurrently while I am held incognito again), but the presiding judge has shown no interest in the law to date. The courts here have changed the rules so that appeals from the district courts are heard in the superior courts in the same county, and there is no further right of appeal, period. One can petition for discretionary review further, but so far I have been "clerked out" to protect the guilty.
The state's attorney general has declined to step in, the prosecutor special division has gone silent despite no less than 12 verified criminal complaints filed against county agents and officials which require probable cause hearings under our laws, and those complaints literally disappeared from the court record, (a felony). The ten or so major land rights organizations in the country have declined assistance because I was charged with a "crime" (illegal wetlands activity where no wetlands existed until they were conjured into being AFTER my trial), and they don't risk sullying their reputations with that sort of of undesirable.
I have the county dead to rights on issues which expose and terminate their shake down racket I have been subjected to, inclusive of but not limited to the complete absence of any underlying statutory authorization of law for the code they charged me with as applied, though it is mandatory for them to record the specific statute each code enacted is designed to implement, and they have not. It is also over four years since my first mandatory Public Disclosure Request (state version of FOIA), with many since and criminal discovery denied with impunity.
The intent to date has clearly been to bury and punish me for exposing them, and I will not go down quietly to the local implementation of UN Agenda 21, which is the end of individual property ownership and hence the Republic. No substance, no sovereignty, friends.
Please pray that our Righteous and Holy God will get hold of the heart of this appeal judge and turn it to obey the law. They have many outs (reversible errors) they can use to set me free without turning over their whole manure wagon, some of which will even minimize liability of the individual criminal actors in official capacity.
Please pray for me for strength and wisdom as I have much more to do to prepare oral argument and failsafe contingency filings to higher courts in the next two days than one man can possibly do, and am weary.
Thank you kindly. I'll let you know how it goes if possible.
I can't return to answer all your questions or discuss this in detail, but do appreciate those of you who pray. This thing clearly requires Divine intervention. I have gone steadily further afoul of them for demanding that law is honor. The enviro-nazis are powerful and entrenched here. The worst of it is that my dear wife cannot really run this place in the winter without me, and they are planning to literally tear out the artesian well and turn it loose into the pasture to make a proper wetland, then destroy the road, but God knows this also.
Merry Christmas to all.

Well, the fix was in, and after over 3 hours of absolutely setting the thing to rest, the "judge" "adopted all of the reasoning in the state's brief", (which did not address at least ten major issues fatal to their case as a matter of state supreme court and SCOTUS case law, and which the persecutor evaded in his oral argument, which basically centered around character assassination calling me a constitutionalist nut case), and refused to provide findings of fact and conclusions of law for further appeal, (required by law in this state). Thankfully, they aren't supposed to enter the order and send me back to the district court to be sent back to jail for 30 days, and it should invoke a stay at least while I get clerked out at the next level to file a petition for discretionary review, (you have no right of further appeal here, so they can fix it in the county of origin if it's dirty enough, and keep it there), but God is able to open a door further up, and I am going to try.
Thanks to those of you who pray. I blew a gasket after court that day, almost blacked out several times from intestinal pain after starting home, and barely made it to one of my daughter's who thankfully lives close to there and is an ER charge nurse, where I collapsed trying to get up the steps. I was soaked with cold sweat from the pain, and lost a bunch of blood through my intestine, and my pulse was down to 40 per minute at one point. She wanted to admit me, but I no way have the dough, wasn't about to let the enemy add insult to injury and put me in debt, and after a real bad night and a not so good day, I am on my way back, with all the right things in there and lots of cayenne to cauterize. I must be getting old.
Somebody said I should have kept a sample of the water they put on my table in court, since I have no history of anything even related, but even though they are decidedly evil, I wonder if they are quite that brazen. They certainly are entirely devoid of honor, their oaths are meaningless, and they have done consistently what they are forever prohibited from doing. Thanks again for your continuing prayers. I cannot afford to go back to jail at this point, but they know that, and are determined to make good on their threats. When are people going to get it that we have to turn this thing around now or never, and stop toeing the party line?
God still controls the lightning...

Sorry I did not see this till today. God said to Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you." Abraham lied to save his bacon when God was looking for Abraham to trust Him to take care of him. Abraham finally learned the lesson and proved it when he was willing to sacrifice his son. His faith was reckoned as righteousness.
God is looking simply for your faith in Him regardless of decisions, laws and overwhelming odds against you. He will reckon your faith as righteousness and work on your behalf. For when Sarai laughed the angel told her "for is anything too difficult for the Lord?"
May You, O Lord, strengthen Tras faith so that he sees what Samuel's servant saw, flaming chariots all around him, there to give victory as surely as Daniel was saved in the Den of the Lions and Israel was saved in answer to the intercessions of Esther.
Mark 11:24 "WHATSOEVER you ask in prayer, believing you have received it, it shall be yours."
Believe His promise and all will be well. He that endures in his faith shall be saved...
"He shall supply all your need through His riches in Christ." -Phil 4:19

I remember your posts about this a while back on TB2K, and had been wondering how that all turned out. I just saw this thread -- so sorry you are still having to deal with those people.
Tras, I know what you are trying to do, and I know why you are doing it, and I honor you for it. But if an army is surrounded, outnumbered, and outgunned, there's no dishonor in crawling out through the enemy lines under cover of darkness to live and fight again another day. In this case, the 'other day' may not come until Jesus Christ returns to rule over the earth -- and before then, property ownership is going to become a moot point and useless anyway.
It just plain stinks, though, that those who COULD help you, WON'T help. I think they'll regret that decision someday, when it's their turn to get railroaded.
Am keeping you in prayer. Be wise in the Lord.

Passing strange advice from "freeholder", there Kathleen, but thank you. It seems we need to eat, grow our food, and feed our critters, and have a roof overhead. I do realize God has promised to provide, but we are rooted here (26 years now), and I just pruned my fruit trees and vines, and spent a day I didn't really have to spare repairing the chimney from that roaring chimney fire that cleaned it out real good on Christmas. This is where we stand, and having done all, to stand. I don't know I could operate or make a living from anywhere else, let alone afford anywhere else, and I think most landlords frown on collecting salvage construction materials, composting chips and horse manure, free range chickens, building raised beds and agricultural grade plastic greenhouses, recycling heavy machinery, and harvesting trees as renewable resources, or plowing up the yard to plant food. :lol:
Can't say I could get used to some joker sending me a bill for water, either, let alone living somewhere the enviro-nazis would show up if I heated with wood to warm my buns after working in the soaking rain all day pounding nails. Don't know if the hive dwellers would get along well with my mastiff hound, either.
Good news today, though. Please keep praying, you all. I had a minor breakthrough which could become a major. I got a notice in the mail says the court of appeals clerk has recalled his Certificate of Finality issued in their refusal to hear my Petition For Discretionary Review on the two remaining counts of contempt, which are, oddly, even more illegal than those three which were already reversed in the Superior Court appeal of the district court which did the dirty deed. What this does is allows me to file a Motion For Discretionary Review to the State Supreme Court. No guarantee of hearing, but that's where prayer comes in. All I need is one person in a decision making capacity only who is on the level, and I can not only clear my name of those charges, but the jail time served would pretty much take care of my pending sentence.
The alleged counts for which I spent 63 days do not meet any statutory definition (required) of contempt, I was denied timely requested findings of fact and conclusions of law (required BEFORE one is thrown in jail), and the constitutional due process and rights violations are horrendous. I was told when I was summarily arrested without mitigation hearing (required by statute) that I had NO right of appeal, I was denied counsel and notification of the right to counsel, the "judge" was white-faced losing it angry, hurling personal insults and going off about the land having a history and future into the mists of time, my momentary title being meaningless, and accusing me of "deprivations" in the context of making the land a living being! If ANYBODY is left who is sane in the judiciary, (and don't forget they clerked me out without hearing at the appeals court level, but there were certain irregularities in the process which apparently were not brought to the head Clerk's attention, and which he may not have wanted his name on when I exposed them, or may just be a decent man who has a sense of fair play and didn't tolerate what his underlings did to bury me for local influence once he knew about it), this is the opportunity to clear my name of the contempt convictions, PLUS there are issues here which dovetail into the appeal I was just denied in the Superior Court, inclusive of but not limited to powerful jurisdictional issues, which IF I get heard and the state supreme level can reverse everything they have done to me and wipe it.
The other thing this does, even if the state supremes won't hear it, is, (and SCOTUS is the only place I haven't been before fighting corruption), I can apply for direct review to SCOTUS to apply to have them order the state to obey its own constitutional mandates, and again, if there is any law left, there is no wiggle room here.
So thanks for your prayers, and please continue. I don't have to tell those of you who understand that it it your liberty and God-given rights also.
Our GOD is mighty to the casting down of strongholds, and I don't where exactly He wants this thing to land, but I do know my cause is just, and that where the Law of The LORD is, there is Liberty. This news is timely encouragement and refreshing, but most of all, it is Divine intervention AFTER the situation was humanly hopeless. Hallelujah!

LOL! I know that probably did sound strange, coming from someone with my screen name! Like I said, I do understand why you are doing what you are doing -- and if there's a little hope there, then praise the Lord!
Sounds like you have a doozy of a judge! :shock: He needs a little re-education on who REALLY values and cares for the land! Give him a hint -- it isn't over-educated liberal urban earth-worshipers!
I guess my view is that God is in perfect control of everything, and since in due time this whole earth, the whole of creation, is going to be dissolved and rebuilt, then property isn't the most important issue, people are. Sounds like you are suffering physically from the stress, and I was wondering if it wasn't time to pack it in and sell -- if they'll let you. But my prayers are with you, and I hope everything comes out well for you.

If any of you have an extra moment of prayer, I could use some cover again. They did go ahead and defy the procedural law and issues a summons for me to appear for slammer duty, despite my continuing applications for review to the higher courts which prohibit this unless and until I am ultimately denied review. I have yanked their chain hard on it, and the LORD seems to be working on at least one of them in administration, who admitted the error of his office to me today, but it's not like I have it turned around in writing yet, and I need it to be.
After working into the night all weekend, I finished compiling 127 pages of Appendix today, cross-referenced to my motion for review (20 pages) to the State Supreme Court, (when I should be making a living instead), and I ask for your prayers I won't be clerked out again without hearing, because the law will make winged monkeys of anyone who will actually read it and refuse me justice, not to mention this is my last shot at the bogus contempt charges I spent 63 days in jail on in O6 as direct retribution for refusing taking of my property absent compensation, and relying upon the rule of law to refuse coercion and extortion under color of law.
I now have two days only, if the LORD does not intervene directly in having my motion for extension of time granted, to completely research, compile, write and file a like motion for review in the Appellate courts, on the "wetlands" misdemeanor conviction which was attempted to be fixed and deep sixed to cover a dump truck load of corruption on "appeal" by the Superior Court judge in December, described above. I really don't know if I can humanly do it, given the time invested in this other filing deadline, but He does. If you're reading this, please ask Him if He might stir up someone to grant me an extension of time to file. My motion for that has real merit, in that the Superior Court judge who did the dirty deed to cover the underlings refused to issue findings of fact and conclusions of law, (the reasons for her decision), which are required by law in this instance, and which I have tied in to the same motion for the higher court to enforce before I must file, because it is doubly difficult to combat a phantom.
Thank you, good people. God is at work, and even if The Beast wins this round, He is still LORD, but I'm looking for High Victory. When there is no other or human way possible, He is able. Prayer changes things. Praise Him!

Some of you are praying and get heard! THANK YOU brothers and sisters! Today I got the Summons to put me back in jail in February cancelled. The court administrator I spoke with and documented the "error" to kept his word, and sent his counsel up there to tell them to withdraw it. Praise God! I have here on my desk a fresh copy of the Summons with "CANCELLED" stamped over it!
Whew! Live to fight another day! Now please keep praying for that extension. Here's the update:
After going and getting six-hundred-some pages of copies made and bound for the state supreme court filing today, (no WAIT, I have to tell you this:
There I was running the first copy of that 127 page pleading through the machine at the UPS store with it programmed to make four more, and on page 88 the machine stopped dead, with paper sticking out of the chute part way. No alarms, no jams, no nothing. I called the gal over and showed her, explaining it was a legal document and I couldn't afford to lose a page or have it mutilated. She said nothing was wrong with the machine, and we should wait to see if it was scanning into memory or something. We waited. Nothing. Waited some more. Nothing. So I had her reset the machine so it would spit my paper out, removing what I had in the feeder. Pages 89 and 90 were missing! I asked if they could be jammed in the machine. She opened everything and no paper! She explained that machine couldn't suck it down into the guts because it scans and showed me.
Upshot was I had somehow lost those two pages out of the original (I remember copying them at home and numbering them), and would have screwed up my filing to the state supreme court if that machine hadn't stopped at exactly the right page to show me. She said that was a very strange thing to see, that it stopped exactly where I was missing two pages, and wouldn't go until I realized it. I told her it was definitely divine intervention, and that I would be right back... :lol: )
Now, about that prayer for extension to file for the other review in the Appellate court:
After that I felt impressed on the way home to call the Appellate court and ask them openly about the extension and why they were running me to the deadline with no answer, when I had filed the motion ten days ago. They were just now even assigning a case number and manager, and when I got her on the line and tried to explain the catch 22 I am in, she told me I would have to file a written formal motion. I said, huh?, I filed it ten days ago. She went and and looked, came back and told me it had apparently been "lost". Now I filed that thing by fax to a court computer that retains everything in hard drive, including who retrieves or deletes what, and I have the transmission verification report. I have never even heard of a filing being lost in the appellate court, but have had things every bit as irregular occur up there in the past year, (as in filings being buried and not acknowledged), where a certain corrupt official I know obviously has friends. So I faxed her a new copy with the original dated proof of service, and am praying God will use it being "lost" to alert someone honest to the games being played with my liberty and property; and if it is simply somehow human error, that will work in my favor instead of against me for the extremely short time for resolution.
Please keep praying folks. This one is BIG. BIG because this one little decision in my favor for good cause tweaks the rudder on the Titanic.

MORE answered prayer. At "1 minute to midnight" (today mid-morning, the deadline for filing what I cannot complete in time), I received word by phone I have been granted an extension of time. The story is unbelievable, and I can't put the whole thing here, but get this.
By herding cats with fax paper and phone calls at the state supreme court and the appellate court these past few days, two days before the deadline I was told by the appellate court the motion for extension had been "lost", and faxed another copy with proof I sent them the first one ten days earlier.
The next day, (yesterday), I received in the mail a ruling granting an extension on that motion in the state supreme court, but it was granted in the wrong case, which they had opened a new case number mysteriously without my ever filing anything to prompt that.
Last night I documented all this with proofs of service, case numbers, etc., and faxed it to the person authoring the ruling at the supreme court, with the right people at the appellate court, asking if it might be applied in the correct case, since the facts and law had been ruled upon. A couple of hours later, I hadn't been able to get through to a live human at the appellate court, so I called the supreme court and was put through to the person who made the ruling. They had read my fresh documentation, and said my motion had been sent to them with a cover letter when it was originally filed in the appellate court, (deep-sixed?), and then told me the extension could not be applied in the correct case, that the appellate court would have to decide that. I explained it was the deadline, that my liberty is at issue, and asked if they might at least contact the appellate court. Th
When I finally got through to the appellate court more than an hour later, they had just received a communication from the supreme court, and had granted my extension for three weeks. Praise God! He works in mysterious ways. I even think He may well be using this to introduce me to both courts afresh with a "splash", as now they know I can herd cats, and have friends in high places... :lol:
Keep praying now, because I NEED to get heard, and they don't have to do it.
Blessings and thank you again who pray.

Tras,
Praise God! He is so amazing!!! This just really warms my heart.
Well Praise God for answered prayer. I hope the crooks are outed by the upper court. I continue to ask God for 'speedy justice' on your behalf and don't forget the imprecatory Psalms put there by the Spirit to be prayed against our enemies.
************************************************** *********
Sometimes our enemies need to be striken with blindness or exposed or ruined in order to do righteouness. There is an abundance on the imprecatory Psalms. Do a google on them. Here is a good article I'll post below for everyone.
PLEASE ZAP THEM, LORD!
Psalm 35:5 - May they be like chaff before the wind.
Psalm 55:15 - Let death take my enemies by surprise; let them go down alive to the grave.
Psalm 58:6 - O God, break the teeth in their mouths.
Psalm 69:28 - May they be blotted out of the book of life and not be listed with the righteous.
Psalm 109:9 - May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.
Psalm 137:9 - How blessed will be the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please zap them, Lord! That sure doesn't sound like a prayer from the Bible, does it? Well, look again at our selected texts from the Psalms. Isn't the essence of these prayers a request for zapping? But how could such prayer requests be included in the Bible? Didn't Jesus say, "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:39)? How are we to explain this apparent inconsistency in the Bible?
The quotations above were all taken from what are known as the imprecatory psalms. To imprecate means to invoke evil upon, or curse.
Psalms 7, 35, 55, 58, 59, 69, 79, 109, 137 and 139 all contain prayers for God's judgment on the psalmist's enemies. The imprecatory psalms have bothered many growing Christians in view of the New Testament's overwhelming emphasis on showing love to everyone--including our enemies (Matthew 5:44). The imprecations of these psalms seem so far removed from love that some Christians have concluded that David and other psalm writers were mistaken when they prayed these prayers about their enemies. The psalmists are to be forgiven, these Christians would say, because they were living in Old Testament times before the New Testament teaching of Christian love. In this view, the imprecatory psalms are included in Scripture to show how different our attitudes should be now that Christ has come and we live in the light of the New Testament truth.
While it is true that the interpretation of any Scripture must always take the historical context in which it was written into account, the imprecatory psalms cannot be explained away as mere Old Testament ignorance of God's later revelation concerning love for our enemies.
Listen to what David wrote in one of the imprecatory psalms regarding his love for those who were against him. "In return for my love they act as my accusers, but I am in prayer. Thus they have repaid me evil for good, and hatred for my love" (Psalm 109:4-5). Remember also David's acts of kindness to King Saul who, because of jealousy, was out to kill David. (See 1 Samuel 24 and 26.)
It is not true that love for your neighbor and for your enemy is a concept only revealed in the New Testament. When the Lord Jesus commanded that one should love his neighbor as himself, He was quoting the Old testament Law. (See Leviticus 19:18.) As for showing love to your enemies, this is also part of the Old Testament law. Exodus 23:4-5 states, "If you come across your enemy's ox or donkey wandering away, you shall surely return it to him. If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; you shall surely help him with it."
Love for your enemy is also part of the wisdom literature of the Old Testament. Proverbs 24:17 says, "Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your heart rejoice." No, the imprecatory psalms cannot be explained away as Old testament ignorance of New Testament truth.
Furthermore, the imprecatory psalms cannot be looked on as just the record of psalmists who lost their cool under pressure or persecution, let fly with some momentary outbursts and then regained their serenity--something we all do on occasion. No, the imprecatory psalms aren't historical narrative--they are lyric poems. They were not dashed off in unguarded moments but methodically composed at unhurried times. In fact, it can be seen from the titles that most of the imprecatory psalms were written to be sung in public worship!
In order to adequately answer the difficult question of the imprecatory psalms, a number of points need to be considered. First of all, it should be noted that imprecation is a relatively minor theme of the Psalms. Even in the so-called imprecatory psalms, the amount of actual imprecation is considerably limited. In fact, it would be more proper to speak of "imprecations in the psalms" rather than "imprecatory psalms". Let us understand, then, that our question concerns a theme which does not characterize the Old Testament or the Psalms or even most of the imprecatory psalms.
Another point to keep in mind is that hyperbole (purposeful exaggeration or excessive language) is a figure of speech which is often used in Hebrew poetry. Consider, for example, David's lament in Psalm 6:6. "Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears." Hardly is such an extravagant description to be taken literally! While the colorful fervent overstatement of Hebrew poetry does not explain away the imprecations of the Psalms, it does help explain such expressive terms as "break teeth" and "dash infants".
A very significant consideration to our question is the fact that none of the imprecations of the Psalms (or any other book of the Bible) is a request for personal revenge.
When the context surrounding the imprecations is examined, we find that the psalmist is not involved in a personal vendetta but rather desires to see the righteous standards of God upheld by His judgment of the wicked for their sin.
Look, for example, at the conclusion of Psalm 58. "The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. And men will say, `Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth!'"
Notice, for another example, the reason for the imprecation of Psalm 109. In verses 16-18 we read, "Because he did not remember to show kindness, but persecuted the afflicted and the needy and the brokenhearted, to put them to death. He also loved cursing, so it came to him; and he did not delight in blessing, so it was far from him. He wore cursing as his garment; it entered into his body like water, and into his bones like oil."
The reason for the imprecation of Psalm 55 is also clear. "For evil finds lodging among them." The context of Asaph's imprecation in Psalm 79 obviously pertains to the support of God's righteous reputation. "Pay back into the laps of our neighbors seven times the reproach they have hurled at you, O Lord" (Psalm 79:12).
The wicked are the psalmist's enemies because they are the enemies of God. "Do I not hate those who hate You, O Lord, and abhor those who rise up against You? I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies" (Psalm 139:21-22).
Even the harsh language about "seizing the infants and dashing them against the rocks" in Psalm 137 must be seen in context. The previous two verses identify the psalmist's enemy. "Remember, O Lord, what the Edomites did on the day Jerusalem fell. `Tear it down', they cried, `tear it down to its foundations!' O daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction. How blessed will be the one who repays you for what you have done to us." This Psalm was written by the Hebrews who were in captivity, and directed against the pagan Babylonians (along with the supporting Edomites) who had defiled and destroyed God's sanctuary in Jerusalem and committed many unspeakable atrocities against the nation of Israel. This cry for justice was answered about 50 years later when Persia overthrew Babylon in 539 B.C.
Thus we see that the psalm writers were not out to get personal revenge, but longed to see the righteousness of God revealed in government on earth. This was particularly important during Old Testament times because the concepts of the final judgments taking place after death had not yet been fully revealed.
Growing Christians have a much better appreciation today of how everything "will come out in the wash" in the end times because we have a completed Bible. For the Old Testament believer, however, seeing the ungodly and wicked judged in this life was extremely important because God and His righteous standards were vindicated.
This was especially true for David (who wrote most of the imprecatory psalms) because of his office as king of Israel. As the anointed ruler over God's chosen people, David knew that his government reflected God's standards of righteousness. We see from his last words in 2 Samuel 23:1-7 that David realized he had the responsibility as king to be God's spokesman and to uphold righteousness.
Another obvious answer, then, to the question of the imprecatory psalms is that they show forth the righteous side of God's character. God is not only loving and gracious; He is righteous and holy and He abhors sin. He must deal with sin in judgment. The very phrases that are prayers in the imprecatory psalms are definitive statements of God's actions against the wicked in other psalms.
Consider the following selections: "The wicked are like the chaff which the wind blows away" (Psalm 1:4). "For You have struck all my enemies on the jaw; You have broken the teeth of the wicked" (Psalm 3:7). "But transgressors will be altogether destroyed; the posterity of the wicked will be cut off" (Psalm 37:38). "But You, O God, will bring them down to the pit of destruction; the bloodthirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days" (Psalm 55:23).
A final consideration which should be mentioned is that imprecation is not foreign to the New Testament. The Lord Jesus taught and practiced unconditional love, but He also imprecated the unbelieving cities of Capernaum, Chorazin and Bethsaida. He said that they were under greater judgment than Tyre, Sidon or Sodom! (See Matthew 11:20-24.)
The imprecations of Psalm 69 (including the solemn "book of life" statement) could be said to be the very words of Christ. This is because Psalm 69 is a Messianic psalm spoken in the first person. The pronouncement of the unpardonable sin (Mark 3:22-30) was also an imprecation of the Lord Jesus. It was a judgment upon the Pharisees who had attributed His miracle-working power to Satan.
Imprecation in the New Testament is not limited to our Lord's statements in the Gospels. In the closing of his first letter to the Corinthians Paul wrote, "If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed" (1 Corinthians 16:22). The word "accursed" is a strong word and could be translated "damned".
Paul used this same word twice in Galatians 1:8-9. "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!" One aspect of the entire book of Revelation is that it is an answer to the imprecatory prayers of the saints to bring justice to this earth. "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" (See Revelation 6:10.)
The desire for personal revenge is never an option for the Christian and we should always have the mind and heart of God "not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). But at the same time we do not want the name and character of our God blasphemed.
We long for and pray for the time when God's righteousness will be realized "on earth as it is in heaven." We pray these prayers knowing full well that in the final analysis the universal reign of righteousness by a holy God demands the eternal punishment of the wicked. The imprecatory psalms are the Old Testament expression of this godly attitude.

Good work, BB. We serve a Righteous and Holy God. When we pray for forgiveness for our enemies and the wicked, we pray for their repentance. The popular modern invention that we should go about "forgiving" everyone for every offense and heinous crime known to man when they have not repented or sought forgiveness, is a perversion of Scripture and sound doctrine. This does not mean we hold any desire for personal vengance or should nuture anger, but it does mean it is perfectly acceptable to pray for righteous judgment, as in Justice. It is because God is Love that He is also Just.
If this current "forgiveness" fad were biblically based, we should never have to seek God's forgiveness in true (as opposed to false, which is self-pity for the consequences of sin we have brought upon ourselves) repentance, even for Salvation.
And I found out after the fact how really close I was to losing the right to apply for review on the misdemeanor "wetlands" conviction. Two days after having the Appellate Court grudgingly give me an extension for ten days less time that the Supreme Court would have, and without the provision for hearing on the missing conclusions denied by the lower court from which to perfect review, (show the error), I received in the mail a notice from the Appellate Court mailed the day before the deadline, (AFTER I had contacted them exposing the fact they had deep-sixed or "lost" my motion for extension to the wrong court), giving me notice the deadline was the following day, (as if it would make it through the mails in one day - three days is the legal requirment of any notice), and informing me my case would be dismissed without hearing if I did not meet that impossible deadline. That Notice was reversed on the day of the deadline in writing, without my knowing until later it was ever issued, only after contact from the supreme court, at my request.
THAT's how close it was, and how God used their own machinations to entrap them and shame them into maintaining some semblance of fair play.

Asking for prayer again, specifically for the Commissioner at our state supreme court who is going to decide within the next few days, (if he hasn't already), whether I will be granted review on the two remaining counts of contempt of court I spent 60+ days in jail for a while back. This would radically reduce the misdemeanor sentence I have hanging over my head and am trying to get heard on in the court of appeals, (if they won't hear it or rule against me), and has the potential to overturn their whole applecart and get it all thrown out.
I wasn't encouraged by his demeanor, questions, or interruptions during oral argument this week, and am praying God will get hold of him as he reads the pleadings and law submitted, (if he even does, and sometimes they just don't bother). I wasn't exactly jazzed that oral argument was held by telephone conference call with no record in a constitutional court of record, or that an appointed commissioner was making the decision whether or not review will be granted, (because that is a direct violation of our state constitution, it has to be an elected judge), but I wasn't given an option. IF they will only hear it, their own recent case law, the charging statute, an more, absolutely requires the charges be reversed, and then I would have credit for the time for the 90 I still am trying to get reversed for the "wetlands violation" for maintaining my pasture, ditches and road. If he rules against me, it is most likely another avenue of escape sealed, as the judges rarely overrule the commissioners on motion to modify where there is no right of review, but I will of course try.
It is so unbelievable that they can even question their duty to uphold the law as clearly written, consistently ignore the law, and deny hearing of anything they want to make go away.
Praise God I am still walking free after their attempt to put me away in January/February, but it sure would be good to be able to plan for the future absent this craziness, and not spend my life fighting this thing constantly as a consuming priority which robs me of time for so many pressing things I need to do. This week left me weary, somewhat discouraged, and wondering how long I have before going back to the gulag, and when I will have time for better things, or if I will spend this summer with my family getting necessary work done, or go backwards again. I realize God has it all figured out, but I keep hoping He'll just stop them. Our country as I knew and loved it is so far gone...
Thanks, and I guess I might add that I don't post to a lot of prayer threads because I don't often know what to say, but do generally read them, and pray. Thanks to those who just pray, and thanks to those who have that gift of encouragement to post.

Update and renewed request for your prayers, brothers and sisters. It's crunch time again. First the update from last year until now, in radically condensed form.
In May 2008 the commissioner of the state supreme court denied review on the remaining two counts of bogus contempt I spent 63 days in jail for in 2006, literally falsifying the record in his written ruling to distort the facts of record enough to misapply the law, jumbling the ultimate facts and therefore the law into pages of mumbo-jumbo designed to keep anyone from sorting it out, (again). On my motion to modify to for review, in which I once again documented carefully from the court records the fact the commissioner absolutely had to have either ignored or deliberately falsified the record before the court to write that ruling; the panel of five judges denied review without a word of comment. I have no reason whatever to think they read one word. I felt impressed to let go of that instead of going to SCOTUS with it, and concentrate instead on the criminal misdemeanor conviction with a pending sentence of 90 days.
In September 2008, despite an affidavit of prejudice filed against the court of appeals commissioner who had initially denied review on the 2 remaining contempt charges, that same commissioner was assigned to my criminal petition for review, denying review in yet another ruling of several pages so thoroughly distorting the facts and law of the case as to appear deliberately designed to poison the record and bury my case, to cover the corruption exposed. While I was preparing the Motion For Review taking that up to the state supreme court, the same prosecutor at the root of this thing made another premature and illegal attempt to throw me back in jail, issuing a sentencing summons in violation of law, (obviously to shut me up), and God answered prayer in someone at the state supreme court granting my motion to order a stay of proceedings in the lower court until final disposition of my case in the state supreme court. So I dodged another attempt to put me in jail in October 2008.
In December 2008, the same commissioner as last time in the state supreme court denied review of my petition for review, stating my issues have no merit, and once again quite literally falisfying the facts of the case proven before him in court records to misapply the law in ruling. He did this despite having an Amicus Curiae brief filed on my behalf from a top constitutional law firm in this state working for a property right organization that had heard of my case, which reviewed my work, declared I was right, and came up with a case decided by the current chief justice of our state supreme court which dead on agrees with one of my powerful issues mandating reversal.
Within a few days, during the 30 days I had by law to file the motion to modify for review by the judges, the prosecutor had moved the local court to throw me back in jail, omitting the supreme court stay of proceedings, (which was already in the record there), and the same original corrupt district judge issued a summons for me to come in and be put in jail the end of January. The clerk of that court refused to cancel the summons on demand, in defiance of the supreme court order of stay they all knew they were violating, and threatened the judge would issue a bench warrant if I didn't show, meaning they were threatening to send JBT Inc.
Believing I was in the will of God, I called their bluff, applying to the sheriff by legal process for protection, and sending a witness to their "hearing", which they held without me. The judge backed down and did not issue the bench warrant when he was told I went to the sheriff, but threatened to throw me in jail again for contempt the next time he sees me for not coming, when HE was the one in direct contempt of a supreme court order. The recording of that hearing was mysteriously delayed for weeks after immediately being ordered, by its having been sent to the wrong address, then when it finally arrived, the disk was corrupted and the file will not play.
I filed a motion for sanctions and for protection from abuse of process to the state supreme court documenting this latest defiance of their order of stay, the repeated pattern of attempts to put me back in jail to silence me, (two $100,000 bails for a bogus victimless misdemeanor to date, and a third $5,000 bail outstanding after I had those declared abuse of discretion - only after 63 days in jail and not being able to get Habeas Corpus heard in my county), a direct statement of record by this judge that I had no right of appeal, etc., and the fact this judge is unlawfully converting 33 days excessive time served to date to "payment of fines" I have proof I paid, to extend the sentence unlawfully, and; the unauthorized penalties they have imposed by taking a portion of the propery absent compensation and by illegally clouding my title with a document charging activities I was specifically ACQUITTED of by the jury, even at my sham trial where I was permitted no witnesses for the defense, the vast majority of my documentary and photographic evidence was disallowed, and suffered five counts of totally outrageous "contempt" with a 180 day total sentence, for even the slighest attempt to respectfully present my case. This judge literally spoke of the property as a living entity, and accused me of "deprivations" against my own property as "having a history into the mists of time", in true GAIA worshipper style, (just to give you some idea of what I am up against - not to mention for me to win is to seriously damage a multi-million dollar per year extortion and protection racket conducted in the rubric of environmentalism in this county alone, and also state wide. The man is a "reporter" for an international association posing as compilers of court "history", which deliberately conforms the pattern of judicial decisions to international law. He knows I am Christian and this is spiritual warfare, on a very personal level.
That brings us back to the present. The end of this month, a panel of judges will decide whether or not to modify the ruling of the commissioner denying review, and this is my final recourse in this state, meaning I will go to jail if I am denied. The acknowledgment of receipt of my motion for sanctions described above, (which I of course hoped would go to the judges deciding review), instead is assigned to a "different department fo the court".
So it's crunch time and I need a miracle, friends. I am working to exhaustion to try and be prepared for the worst, to provide, to try and ease the load of my wife trying to run this place alone with flocks increasing this spring, and could spend every remaining hour just perfecting necessary legal pleadings to have some remaining possible avenue to seek justice. Sure, I come here to unwind in the evenings after my brain is jello and I'm physically no good for anything else, and I may have to curtail that as well.
If you found your way here, you know this country of ours is degenerating fast, and corruption on a heretofore UNknown level has been UNleashed at the highest levels, but God is able.
Pray as you are led, but please pray. It is all I can do to submit to this absolute tyranny and usurpation of our fundamental compacts and God-given rights, and to leave my home and family uncovered in these perilous times. "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
"Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us,
But unto Thy Name give glory,
For Thy mercy and Thy truth's sake.
Wherefore should the heathen say,
"Where is now their God?"

Continuing in prayer...
Psalm 69
1 Save me, O God!
For the waters have come up to my neck.
2 I sink in deep mire,
Where there is no standing;
I have come into deep waters,
Where the floods overflow me.
3 I am weary with my crying;
My throat is dry;
My eyes fail while I wait for my God.
4 Those who hate me without a cause
Are more than the hairs of my head;
They are mighty who would destroy me,
Being my enemies wrongfully;
Though I have stolen nothing,
I still must restore it.
5 O God, You know my foolishness;
And my sins are not hidden from You.
6 Let not those who wait for You, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed because of me;
Let not those who seek You be confounded because of me, O God of Israel.
7 Because for Your sake I have borne reproach;
Shame has covered my face.
8 I have become a stranger to my brothers,
And an alien to my mother’s children;
9 Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up,
And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.
10 When I wept and chastened my soul with fasting,
That became my reproach.
11 I also made sackcloth my garment;
I became a byword to them.
12 Those who sit in the gate speak against me,
And I am the song of the drunkards.
13 But as for me, my prayer is to You,
O LORD, in the acceptable time;
O God, in the multitude of Your mercy,
Hear me in the truth of Your salvation.
14 Deliver me out of the mire,
And let me not sink;
Let me be delivered from those who hate me,
And out of the deep waters.
15 Let not the floodwater overflow me,
Nor let the deep swallow me up;
And let not the pit shut its mouth on me.
16 Hear me, O LORD, for Your lovingkindness is good;
Turn to me according to the multitude of Your tender mercies.
17 And do not hide Your face from Your servant,
For I am in trouble;
Hear me speedily.
18 Draw near to my soul, and redeem it;
Deliver me because of my enemies.
19 You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor;
My adversaries are all before You.
20 Reproach has broken my heart,
And I am full of heaviness;
I looked for someone to take pity, but there was none;
And for comforters, but I found none.
21 They also gave me gall for my food,
And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Let their table become a snare before them,
And their well-being a trap.
23 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see;
And make their loins shake continually.
24 Pour out Your indignation upon them,
And let Your wrathful anger take hold of them.
25 Let their dwelling place be desolate;
Let no one live in their tents.
26 For they persecute the ones You have struck,
And talk of the grief of those You have wounded.
27 Add iniquity to their iniquity,
And let them not come into Your righteousness.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living,
And not be written with the righteous.
29 But I am poor and sorrowful;
Let Your salvation, O God, set me up on high.
30 I will praise the name of God with a song,
And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
31 This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bull,
Which has horns and hooves.
32 The humble shall see this and be glad;
And you who seek God, your hearts shall live.
33 For the LORD hears the poor,
And does not despise His prisoners.
34 Let heaven and earth praise Him,
The seas and everything that moves in them.
35 For God will save Zion
And build the cities of Judah,
That they may dwell there and possess it.
36 Also, the descendants of His servants shall inherit it,
And those who love His name shall dwell in it.

Tras, from verse 22 is imprecatory prayer. I pray that for you as well as the rest of the Psalm which btw, Jesus prayed while on the cross. It seemed like no way out for Him and so with you. At this time you MUST rely totally on Him to deliver you and deliver you He will. Then "you will praise the Lord with a song and magnify Him with thanksgiving."
Thank YOU O LORD for hearing and answering. We will not be anxious as we make our requests known to you ....with thanksgiving.

This isn't over at this level until I get a decision from a panel of judges regarding acceptance or denial of review after hearing the end of March, and the same date I get heard on my motion for sanctions in another department of that court. I filed and served irrefutable evidence, including transcripts of recordings today, that a judge, two prosecutors, and one head clerk, are not only in contempt of the supreme court order, but committed the crimes of conspiracy, official misconduct, and probably coercion. If they are convicted of official misconduct, there will also be charges of misfeasance or malfeasance of office, and they will be barred from holding any such public office. This is war, brothers and sisters. Please pray. Pray for my deliverance, and also pray for God's justice to come swiftly upon these criminals.

That's the end of this month both for the decision from the panel of judges whether I will have my case reviewed on the merits in the state supreme court, (which would stay the pending 90 day jail sentence during review, and almost certainly reverse the conviction), and the same day in another department for hearing of my motions for sanctions and protection from abuse of process, though I will not be permitted oral argument on either. They don't necessarily issue the ruling or order that day, as they could take it under consideration for days first, or even a couple of weeks - you never know, but most times it is made in advance by clerks for the judges who review the case (or not) and make recommendations. Please pray specifically the judges themselves will read the case, and especially that these judges will somehow find my motion for sanctions which exposes the thing, the actors involved, and their modus operandi, in unmistakable terms so very concisely, in their own words. Thank you all for your prayers. I am well aware this is spiritual warfare, which is why I ask. Our God is mighty to the casting down of strongholds. This evidence I filed this week is a grenade in a hornet's nest. One thing I have learned of this type of warfare is to keep pressing in - stay on the attack. The enemy screws up the worst when he is in a rage.
"The wicked flees though no one pursues, but the righteous is bold as a lion."

There is more. I guess I'm gonna hafta dust off the 12 string and get to it. Praise and worship is powerful warfare. I can tell people are lifting me up in the Spirit, thank you.

Tras, reading through again, I remembered Hezekiah and how when Rabshakeh the Syrian threatened his kingdom he went in to the house of the Lord and spread all his papers out before the Lord:
And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.
And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.
Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands,
And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.
Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only. (2 Kings 19:14-19)

We sing glory, honor, power and strength to the LORD
We sing glory, honor power and strength to the LORD."
There is more. I guess I'm gonna hafta dust off the 12 string and get to it. Praise and worship is powerful warfare. I can tell people are lifting me up in the Spirit, thank you.

Tras, I'll be praying with you and for you through the week, please keep us posted.

Maybe I'll dust off the 6 string, and join you in some long distance praise and worship. :-D

Continuing in prayer & praise to Our Counselor on your behalf.
Father,
May my brother Tras walk in confidence & boldness in this time. May Tras' words be authored by the Holy Spirit Himself. May Your truth & justice prevail in this hearing & anymore which may arise.
Knowing Tras is covered by Your precious Son's shed blood, he is Your righteous vessel to to be used for Your Glory. Protection & peace for him as he perserveres through this season of trials.
In Your Holy Son's Name, Yeshua I ask these things for Tras, Amen.

Thank you each one for your prayers. I am going to need them. Got word today both motions were denied. There will be no hearing, there will be no justice. Not a word of comment on the law. Nothing. Just swept under the rug. Signed by the Chief Justice. Nero says thumbs down. Basically, they have given these local criminals in official capacity the green light to do whatever they please with impunity and immunity, which is to hold me past what the law allows, without recourse, to add to that, and to engineer conditions, in the continuing attempt to break me and coerce compliance with their criminal pattern racketeering, extortion, and blackmail. There is no law for peasants, America is GONE. Bloody treason afoot.
Please pray for my wife for strength. There is going to be stock multiplying around here within the month and then for some time, the tilling and planting is not done, and I work every day after work to keep this place going, while she does her chores till dark, and raises grandchildren. Basically there is just no way she can also do what I do around here. She has had something wrong in her lungs - a bad cough, since getting the flue last month, but it is gradually getting better. Some of the hardest of it to accept is that I have worked like a 30 year old the past couple of years to carve some niches and demand for my skills, and have projects half finished I may not be able to keep my committments on, meaning it could burn bridges and certainly will result in my being replaced by people who have learned to rely upon me across a broad spectrum, and call me back constantly.
God is still on the throne, and clearly requires us to have faith a little longer without the evidence. I will say the earth and rain never smelled better working in the driving rain today, after I got notice I would be doing time in Babylon, in a stinking concrete hole with up to 80 men per cage. One thing about it, is many are ready to listen to the Word.
Blessings my friends,
Tras
"Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, I will repay."
We really are living in a Banana Republic. They will do as they please.
God gave us this tonight in our Bible Study. We were in Luke 22 and when they were coming to arrest Him He told them that "this was their hour and that the power of darkness had come." I prophesied right then and there that the power of darkness is here and that this is their hour. We are like sheep being led to the slaughter.
Your experience is the canary in the mine for all believers. God bless you and keep you and may angels come and strengthen your wife with all that has to be done. May someone come and help.

Tras, as I read your post, I was feeling in my spirit something very similar to what BB posted, and hadn't read his post yet. God is still on the throne, and from the foundation of the world, He knew what each of His own would go through in the days that are now upon us, and has positioned us according to His will. Exploits. The days ahead may not appear glorious to our natural eye, but the victories wrought will be eternal.
I will pray continually for you, your wife and grandchildren, and everything that has to do with your lives. I've done some nasty cage time myself; part of intercession can be identification with what another is going through, might help in this case.
I don't know that anything will come of this, just thinking out loud - would you be comfortable either in a general post, or individual pms to those you know and are likeminded with, sharing a timeframe for sentencing, when you would begin serving the time, and what you could use in the way of practical help?
Blessings Brother,

Ahhhh, Tras, that is not what we wanted to hear.:cry:
I'm so sorry. I'm still praying. If you do go to the hole, then the Lord has a plan for you somehow to glorify him even when the evil one seeks to destroy you. Keep up your eternal perspective and rely fully on him.
Love ya, man!
My dearest Tras,
My sincere apologies for only finding this thread now, you and yours will remain in my prayers.
Be strong!
This immediately came to mind when I read your posts:
Ephesians 6:12 -- For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Please read your pm so you'll know who I am.

Don't know yet on the sentencing, but the summons can show any time. IF they ever obeyed a procedural law, (and they generally do not care), it should wait until a certificate of finality is issued by the higher court 30 days from the ruling, but depending on that would be foolhardy, although the county did commit to wait for that in the attempt to evade sanctions for the last attempt, which they filed in answer. You all can certainly continue to pray for a miracle that would turn this thing over on them, pray that I will have the time frame set by the rules to get my house in order instead of the bum's rush for a change, and please pray specifically that the corrupt, vengeful, and treasonous judge responsible for this debacle will be unavailable for the sentencing hearing. I intend to have some powerful motions there which will not be heard if he is present, ( he very often denies motions without hearing, and as often actually pretends he has ruled on or heard motions he has not, or simply refuses to address them, threatening when they are brought up - he is a real piece of, uh.. work), and God can give him other things to do on short notice.
If you folks would pray for wisdom for me as well. I have considered approaching a high-power attorney referred to me for bringing a civil rights (USC Title 42 1982-1986), suit for major damages. I have no idea whether he would take it, as it would have to be contingency only, since we have had no treasure to transfer to the bench/bar monopoly from day one, which is part of the reason we are told this has gone badly even though I am assured I have the law right. So that would be a fleece type situation, but I seriously do not want to displease the LORD by going down to Egypt or up to Assyria for help, either. I don't want to see a dispute about that on this thread please, so if you have counsel on that you have prayed about please pm me.
I'll try to get some pms to those with other questions soon. I must concentrate on getting prepared now, and need to figure out how to get this thing to SCOTUS quickly on application for direct review. That's the one court I haven't taken a case to before.
Thanks again for your prayers. I'll keep you posted.

God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. Please continue to pray, as God continues to answer, and thank you all again, from the heart. I won't go into details yet, but something is up. I have a meeting slated in the state capitol this coming week, and someone in official capacity who seeks reform is interested. God gave me an idea a week or so ago that has been independently confirmed twice since, and has opened doors to those with access to the pinnacles of power. This bucket of worms could end up overturned on the freeway yet.

Looks like the wrench I jammed in the gears busted under the sheer weight of the Machine, as the delay was nice, but the desired answer has not yet come. I will be in the maw of the beast tomorrow, absent a one minute to midnight miracle. Please pray for my safety and speedy deliverance. I am not out of ideas yet, but still need an honest judge in the next higher court, or else some unforseen miracle of deliverance. God is able.
I take some comfort in the fact even Jonah was apparently not digested :lol:
I take even greater comfort in the fact God could well have slain the men who plotted against Daniel when they were still plotting, but He didn't. He could have vaporized the guards who came to arrest Daniel, but He didn't. He could have killed the king before the king passed sentence upon Daniel, but He didn't. He could have killed the men who took Daniel to throw him in the lion's den, but He didn't. He could have killed the lions when Daniel was thrown in, but He didn't.
He was saving the lions for Daniel's unrepentant enemies...
Of course, I pray they will repent and be forgiven. In the meantime, may their path be dark and slippery, may the angel of the LORD pursue them, make their forked tongues to fall upon themselves, and may they all fall into the pit they have dug for me.
Hear me, oh God of Justice! They have called evil good, and good evil. They have perverted and made void Thy Law. Their sacred oaths are worse than meaningless, they are devoid of honor, and they have done what they are forever prohibited from doing. Wherefore should the heathen say, "Where now is their God?"
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember the Name of the LORD our God.
Hasta la vista, amigos. I am off to do battle with the beast from a bit nearer its vital organs.

I pray True Justice for your case Tras. I read the thread from the beginning, what a totally frustrating and unjust mess. You must have a pretty nice piece of land that they want to own. You can bet your last stubble of hay that they will do all they can to cover their own booty.
It may take some big guns from out of town to hold them to the law. I've seen this kind of mess over and over and over. Courts are very scary places, anymore.
I pray that what the enemy does to harm you, comes right back around and confounds him to the degree that he seeks to harm, that his game is exposed, and held to the letter of the law. Obviously it's a well rehearsed (dirty) game, and you are caught in the spider's lair.
Definately a case of principalities and powers in high places.
May they be spiritually bound by Jesus Himself, that they can do no more harm.
Please, keep us posted as you can.

Yes you are correct about Daniel.
Every time our faith is chalanged differently.
When we believe we are about to meet the same test as before, we find it requires a different response.
We are asked to give something in order to gain more of the same.

There's been no further update on this...and I'm concerned.
Tras had to turn himself in. He refused to allow the libs in authority to take his property by 'imminent domain' for environmental reasons. For this he has been incarcerated. It is supposed to be for 45 days, he may only be there for 30, but I'm guessing he is there now. Let's pray for his ministry and witness in prison and for an early release. May we all learn from his example that imprisonment awaits all desiring to be faithful to Jesus and the gospel and willing to stand up to Caesar. I do believe our Father is providing us with an example here to prepare us for what is coming. I eagerly await his powerful testimony to God's absolute faithfulness and the saving of souls. May our Lord send angels not just to be with him, but also his family that must carry on without him as well as the finances that will be lost. I pray God will punish those who are trying to destroy this man and his family.

BB, thanks for the update! I am keeping him in my prayers.
After he gets out, will his property then be his again, and will they leave him alone? Or will they continue to torment him with longer incarcerations, and perhaps take his property while he's incarcerated??? I'm worried that just because he's in jail, doesn't mean that the 'good ole boys' club is done with him.
Are you able to call him, or receive calls from him? It's a lonely place to be. Then they want to charge you 10 bucks for a pair of socks, and 6.99 for a 99cent bottle of shampoo, while a 15 min collect phone call can cost $45.00 (some places allow calling cards, but they aren't cheap either). Some jails allow folks to donate to an account for the 'inmate', but then take out a daily fee from that account.
Some places allow one to order things from say Walmart, and have them delivered, but some places don't allow that, demanding that the inmate purchase from the internal canteen only.
I don't know if folks here realize just what a nasty position jails can put you into. Does he have any needs? How about his family, do they have needs (other than him being home)?
Thanks for your concern and prayers Ms. American. Tras is a true American.
I have been in touch with him. Tras is pretty self-sufficient and has family to help him and his family thru this. If he has needs his family has my phone number. I have offered them help. We'll see how this turns out. I'm thinking we'll see him posting before July 4th. Our God is faithful and He can supply all of his needs thru Jesus Christ our Lord. Phil. 4:19

Thanks for the prayer and kind words to all. I'll make this quick, as my computer crashed right before I went in, and this one has restarted each time I have tried to post, losing my post. 27 days beats the 90 plus they intended. I still couldn't get habeas corpus heard in this county, but did get credit for time served, prior good behavior, and minimum security status good behavior this time, none of which they intended. I may have to resign myself to being a "criminal" with a "record", as they denied me materials and resources to take this on up to SCOTUS in there, but these are the times we are in.
Next is clearing my deed of the UNauthorized civil punishments meted out because they swept the motion under the rug without hearing again, and buried my writ of habeas corpus filed on day one (which included that issue as prohibited double jeopardy), without hearing again, IF I can get heard on declatory judgment action. Meanwhile, it is praise worthy to be free, home, eating real food, catching up on chores, getting back to work, NOT sleeping on steel, and getting some sleep. 80 men to a tank with junkies and tweakers going cold turkey really sucks, and there are no adequate descriptors for this Babylonian system of putting men in cages. There were any number who did not belong there at all, but were made fish food for bureaucratic parasites of the Just US/ prison/ law enforcement growth industry. I wish I had time to tell you their stories.
God was at work there, and broke through in real ways, with up to 20 men joining in nightly bible readings and prayer, and Gideon bibles flying off the shelves.
Thanks again for your prayers, as they certainly intended I should serve 90 days, and had threatened further contempt sentence on top of that, so this is indeed an answer.
Blessings,
Tras
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below.
Glad you're back brother. And right on time, His time as I see it. I see seeds were planted, watered and sprouted in God's garden. This is the will of God. God from time to time had me lift up prayers for you and I knew they were ordered from the throne.
Happy fourth. Barbque is in order.
2Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 6 Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.
11 you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many.

And a formal welcome back, Tras! :mrgreen:
But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. (2 Corinthians 6:4-10)
