I have ground yellow dent, and home dried sweet corn for corn bread ect, with decent success,
Does anyone know, how well popcorn works, when ground up, anyone here made cornbread or what ever with popcorn :?
thought I would ask
Popcorn works fine as cornmeal. Being a flint corn it is a little harder to grind if you are grinding by hand, but is also supposed to keep better since flint is a harder kernel.

I have both, pop corn, and dried sweet corn. i must say, both work, but i love, the dried sweet corn made into cornbread. it is really good. my mother, [who is 89 years young, ], told me, when I fixed cornbread out of dried sweet corn, she aid, now this tastes like cornbread is supposed to taste,.
It is a lot better then the boughten mix, or meal.
