I have been wanting to do this for a long time now, they are not in order of priority, or importance, but just how they came out of my thought pattern. Everyone is as important as the next one. I think if we could get this circulating throughout the internet with the ability to add to this. Look at the imput, knowledge, and techniques that could be shared and learned.....................anyway I started this lets see where it goes.........eto
1. Do not give up your guns
2. Do not use trails, paths or roads
If you have to, then check out before walking or driving down. Do not proceed
without checking out.
3. Do not touch dead people, animals, corpses or carcasses
You have no idea what the corpse died off, biological,chemical,nuclear.......
Immediately search immediate area, to see if any animal had died from eating
carcass, good indicator that it is toxic.
4. Do not talk loudly anymore, you have left the civilized world and gone into the
twilight zone, from now on, act as if you are being hunted.........this will come
easily when you realize that the infrastructure has collapsed.
5. Do not use anything but dried fuels for fires, whether it be wood, or coal. If you do
not use dry fuels, you will create much smoke for others to locate your position.
6. When you have moved out, from that point on, everybody who comes into your
area, must be treated as if they are contaminated, and needs to be treated
accordingly, until you are sure they are okay and will not bring any disease, or
infection into your group.
7. Keep your camp clean and orderly to not to attract wild animals, such as bear,
wolves and wild cats. Rodents are great disease carriers, so a clean camp will
aid in keeping the chance of infections or injury to a minimum.
8. Never keep all your gear in one storage area, spread it out so if disaster befalls
the supply shed not all is destroyed.
9. Do not use flash lights at night............
If you got to, use quickly, make sure you shield the light when in use, and have
lookouts located to advise you that your light has leakage..(leakage is any light
beam that could give away your position.
10. It is very important that you practice supreme fire safety, when in the wilderness,
for many reasons, but the most important is you can not outrun a forest fire.........
and remember when TSHTF there will be no fire fighting organization to come put
the fire out.
11. When aircraft is overhead, DO NOT look up, the shiny side of your face will give
you away. Your forehead, eyes and checks will give you away. If you are in the
forest and aircraft are overhead, get behind large boulders, a stand of trees, and
kneel down on one knee and keep your head looking towards the ground, if you
keep your body in a tight tuck, you will most likely fool visual observers, but not
the neat technology that is out there.
12. Always clean your camp site and make sure it looks like it did before you arrived
this practice makes it harder for those who are tracking you to follow, or learn
about your group, like numbers, morale, etc.
13. Never stop to rest or stop to set up an overnight camp without checking your
immediate area, (such as a cloverleaf pattern for clearing area).
14. Never leave an area, or go into an area, without checking for ambushes. Always
send in a security team to insure that the area you have picked is safe to move in
to. When ever you move you always have a point/security force out front.
ALWAYS HAVE SECURITY
15. Keep your weapon clean, this seems to be the downfall of Americans, they do
not keep their weapons clean.
16. Never hunt near your camp, always travel away to hunt for meat............you want
to travel far enough away from your camp, so if somebody hears your gun shot,
the attention will not jeopardize your base camp.
17. When you come to a fresh water source, always check up stream, or inlet first
before usage, this will keep from having or getting bad water. This will apply
to wells and as well, sometimes, bad people will place carcasses
in the water supply to foul it for others to use.
18. Everybody in group needs to learn how to care for all of the equipment that you
have, and there should be no question as to WHY. We are in this together, and
we can make it what it is, there will be no excuse.
19. NEVER GIVE UP YOUR WEAPONS/GUNS.
20. When moving as a group, everybody needs to take care and not leave a trail
for somebody to follow, and the rear security of that group, needs to repair
area that group walked through to its orignal condition.
21. Never go to sleep without a guard/watch list being issued and enforced.
22. If you have radios disconnect microphone and go to a passive role in just listening
If the microphone is disconnected, it will just keep somebody from trying to
transmit a message before it is safe to do so.
If you do decide to transmit and try to make contact with others, then move your
commo operations far away from base camp to ensure that it is safe should the
transmission brings the bad guys instead of the good guys.
23. If you find usable gear from old homes, to vehicles. to ambush sites, to bodies,
NEVER take equipment back to your base camp. Always take it some other
place that is secure and leave it with a guard at a safe distance. If you leave gear at an
isolated site with an observer, this way if they bug the equipment with a tracking
device or RFID chip, they will not be able to find your base camp.
After a reasonable time, check gear very thoroughly if all is well then take gear
and use among your group, or trading material.
24. NEVER USE TRAILS, PATHS, OR ROADS
If you have too, use extreme care and caution and do it as quickly as the
situation and personnel will allow.
25. If you are staying in place, be able to blackout all windows, and doors. You can
stack books and telephone books on the inside of windows to stop bullets, if you
have enough books you can line the inside of all outside walls, this might help
stop random bullets. You want to make it look like your home is abandoned and
there is nothing worthy exploring the ruins of your home. You can use the
crawl space underneath your home to make a shelter, it will take a long time
and much effort but it can be done, if you have the area.
26. When you leave your home and headed for the wilderness, discard all forms of
I D cards, cell phones,GPS's, ipods, electronic games, and make sure to inspect
everybody and insure that none got by you, it will only take one (1) cell phone, to
give your position away.
27. Establish laws and rules within the group and stand by them and the leader
when making decisions. DO NOT compromise on the laws or rules, they
are meant to keep order when the majority wants to rule based upon their
individual issues or discomforts.
28. When moving never go the same way twice, or return the same way
29. Take care of your equipment and keep it clean and in repair
30. Never leave a secure area without somebody going with you, whether it be
to get water, food, or whatever, always have a person there to cover you
in case you get compromised.
31. Once this goes down there will be no safe area, so security will be parimont
until the second coming.
32. If you do have communications, let the transmissions be very short so they can
not trianglate and find your position.
33. If you can use deadfalls, snares and traps to kill your game, gunshots attract
attention by those who are roaming the lands.
1. Do not give up your guns
2. Do not use trails, paths or roads
If you have to, then check out before walking or driving down. Do not proceed
without checking out.
3. Do not touch dead people, animals, corpses or carcasses
