Have posted this elsewhere as well...all help is most accepted and appreciated....

We thought all disposers were created equal.......but alas.......NOT!

There's about an inch difference in level to connect disposer to sink drain. Uffda!

What would YOU do?

Thanks in advance....

(I guess we can't attach pix here?)
Don't see that option?

Not install one.

No disrespect intended, but I would (and do) not use a disposal. Our scraps go to the chickens or the working dogs (LGDs). The compost heap gets its fair share, too.

I agree. My last one failed 30 years ago and I put in straight pipes. No more problems.

I also quit using the dryer ages ago. No more problems there either.

Most of the time you can make a p-trap fit even with a offset. Also might look for a "Flex Joint". I'm sure that they have one with an offset.
Sorry the info is late. Hope ya got it.

Thanks for replies........DH did get an offset thingee.....and it now works fine!

We can't really compost very much in the subdivision we're in, and alas have no chickens (yet), and probably won't (can't by regs), until TSHTF.

We do have a small compost bin tho..:)

We're not able to get out to the country place often enough to make composting an option out there at this point.

But thanks anyway for suggestions!
