ED Day - Dead Sydney

www.ed-day.blogspot.com/2007/08/april-20-suburbs-are-on-fire-again.html

A serialized novel by Darryl Mason. Set in Sydney in the months after the bird flu pandemic kills millions. The story follows three hundred survivors as they try to rebuild their society, in a city of the dead. New chapters will be posted each week.

I'm up to chapter 17 as of this date. This is very interesting and eye opening in a lot of ways. Some "language", which I do not normally tolerate, but in thinking about how people would actually react in a situation like this, and in todays society, I could see people being like this...I just read fast through the nasty words.

Darrly Mason puts up a new chapter every week and when you read this, it's like having a movie go through your head as you can see these people acting and inter-acting with each other.

Very good.

Very good story. Just be warned of the strong language. Been reading it since the second chapter. I think it's up to 17 now and nearing completion. Well worth the read. Makes me wonder what Boss Bloke is up to...hummm...

Yeah, like I said, I "speed read" thru the bad language, but it does make you think, if you've ever wondered how people would react to a situation that's been in the shadows for a long time.

I think society will surprize us when something like this happens...and I'm afraid, not for the better. There will be some that will have a heart, but so many more will do what they have to do because they didn't believe "us" and do what we told them to do...such a shame. It'll be a mess.
