2 Cases of MRE's for $90

I ran across these recently and when I got my tax refund I bought 4 cases. Date codes 6248 & 6249.
shipping is about $17 a case to IN, Total aprox $54 per case

These are the complete meals with heater.
After I got the first batch I went back and got 4 more cases.
A good addition to your preps IMHO.

I've been living off of those things all week. I just got back from da-woodz and I'm about wore out.

MRE's are pretty convenient, but I'm awfully glad that I don't have to live on them!

How do you read the date codes? Is that Julian date with first digit being the year? So were those made in 1996?

Yes, Julian Date.
2006 maybe? Inspection date is 2009. Three years after mfg.

MREs are the best there is. Try C" rats from 53' for 4 months. we would have killed for MREs. The nearest thing to it was the LURP rats and they were scarce as hens teeth and not near as tasty as MREs.
