anyone read the book "patriots.... surviving the coming collapse" by james wesley rawles. if you have not and are a prepper looking for some insight as to what things may be like or some interesting and thought provoking ideas regarding all aspects of surviving in the future.... this is the book for you. :!:

I read it cover to cover twice. I loved that book. Lot's of good information

What I like about it is that it provokes thought, and deals with some situations that one might encounter in a similar circumstance.

Easy read - couldn't put it down.

Good story that makes you think. Shy on farming and livestock stuff though, to pick a nit...

And don't forget my own books (shameless commercial plug), Deep Winter and Shatter. There are some bootleg versions (pre-published pdf's) floating around the net, and for purchase pdf's and hardcopies direct from moi. There are reviews of both...and higher priced copies...on the lulu.com website. Read the reviews, but buy the hardcopy from me. I'm less spendy.

Geez. I sound like a commercial for the Apocalypse.

I recommend for everyone to read it. I loved it on several different levels. I had a hard time putting it down.
