Good for people in a quake zone if you can fill the tub before the water pressure drops to zero. You don't need to worry about wasting time and water scrubbing the tub. And also provides water to bucket flush the toilet.

id be interested in one of these--looks pretty neat. but it says to drain it out to just slit the side of it and empty any remaining water in the tub and then dispose of it.

wouldnt it be better to just drain it and save the container? and next time, when you're ready to use it, add the right amount of drops of bleach for 100 gallons.

id hate to use it once and throw it away.

I like that, very cool. Get one for each tub, and maybe a spare or two

I bought four of them a year ago. I gave one to my mom, who lives on the beach, and kept three. I have not used it, knock on wood, but it does seem like a good idea.

I think that's a great idea. Like anything timing is everything but I really like it as least it is an option.

I think they are pretty cool, and for 29.99 or so, not a bad price. I think you could set it in any thing. probably set a couple in the back of a pick up, and fill. great idea. you might even get 3 of them to set in your pick up. mine would probably set 4 easy. and that could be a lot of water for sure. fill with a hose.

That would not work with these. The plastic is too thin, it would not support the weight. The tub supports it. This is a tub liner with a pump.

A excellent way to store extra water in the house. and keep it changed out with no problem. Plus lower your cost on heating water?

Simple add a second hot water heater ( with heating elements removed ) in line before the active hot water heater.

A hot water heater has a spigot so you will be able to access the water.

By having it in-line the water is refreshed every-time you use hot water.

By having it in-line before your active water heater you are allowing the water to pick up to room temp before it goes into your hot water heater resulting in less cost to heat the water.

Back in the 80s Howard Ruff was talking about water beds as emergency water sources. The algicides would have to be filtered out, and then I guess you'd have find another place to sleep, too.
