Has anyone tried these towels? My aunts have started using hand towels to dry with instead of full size towels. The hand towels are easier and quicker to wash and dry (esp. if you want to line dry.) I saw the commercial for SHAMWOW towels and thought they might be even more absorbent and even easier to wash and dry. I just wanted to know if they were a gimmick or if there were any issues with them. (For instance, those microfiber towels are great, but when you wash and dry them, they pick up EVERY piece of lint and cling to all the other clothes). Thanks for any info.

my husband wanted to try them out too, so he ordered them. They just came in the mail yesterday. Once we get a chance to try them out I'll let you know.

Please do! I have been wondering, but not willing to spend the money to experiment.

DW and I used a towel that was called Speedo Water Shed Towel when we were riding our motorcycles around the country. They are highly absorbent and can be wrung out even when saturated and will still absorb moisture. They were great fro refreshing at rest stops or when you got caught in a sudden thunder storm and need to dry off.
They are like a chamois but made with some sort of micro fiber. They also dry very fast, we would just rinse them in clear water and wring dry like you would a chamois.
I would assume all the products are probably the same in construction though I am not familiar with the product mentioned, shamwow.
