The threads in Frances Tavern put me in a mind to help about the only way I can. I can't offer food, money, or firewood, but I do have quite a bit of knowledge about living in the wild....eating and using wild plants for various usages as well as medicines, rope craft, trapping and other things like that.
If anyone wants me to, I can do "articles" about that stuff on here, or any where on the board....I can reference stuff on the net, and explain some things if ya "don't understand." I have also raised goats and rabbits and can tell you all kinds if tricks about gardening......:-D

What a great idea, Loner!

I print out "how to" articles and file them against the day when the Internet and/or the grid go down.

Actually - I do have one topic - do you know anything about making candles? I don't want to make anything fancy just buy wax and set up candles to use instead of electric.

What a super offer!

I can usually figure out how to do just about anything I care to try, but it is always great to get new ideas ..... there's always room for improvement.
