My daughter works in a hospital doing intake work in labor and delivery.
So one day a rather large woman came in ready to give birth. My daughter was getting her ready .... spreading the fat is how she described it.
You will never believe what she found in the rolls of fat.
A moldy sandwich.

My daughter is very a sweet kind person. I can see her tiny self with rubber gloves, eye bugged out as she finds this sandwich.
She didn't say anything to the lady but told the doc who had a long talk about hygiene.

Now how does a person misplace a sandwich and not wonder where it went. Then how did she not notice the smell.

I have a friend who is a nurse who tells me that sandwiches and food left in the 'folds' are not uncommon. Sometimes the patient is trying to hide food from their family to consume later!

<sorry if this next one is too gross! hope it doesn't offend anyone>
She also tells the story about a patient who kept complaining that her birth control device was giving her infections. As my friend was talking to her about how she used it and cleaning, etc. the patient mentioned that she was told to coat it with jelly..... she had been using grape! (ewwwwwwwwwwwwww!)

Old song: Chalkin' anda huggin'...................about the guy with the BIG girlfriend. Chalkin to keep track of where he was when he hugged her.
