Stupid Question

I tilled up a new area for a garden, then remembered I'd buried a dog there less than a year ago. In your opinion, is this a health risk? No idea what killed the dog.

I have a better area to plant, but will have to build a good fence to keep the deer out. Thanks for your help.

I'd plant without any worries. If' it's been buried close to a year all soft tissue is gone. Did you see any remains when you tilled it? If not, plant away. IMHO

No risk. We did the same thing but the dogs had been buried for about 5 years.
