How do I go about replacing the dashlight(s) in my DD's "new" '96 Sentra? Had hoped it was a fuse - haven't found a blown one yet. Thoughts?
update: after doing a bit more looking on the net, I think it might be a bad dimmer-switch, rather than a blown bulb.

Have to know more about the symptoms.
Dimmers do go bad. Does the dimmer dim/brighten the other lights on the car - Like the radio/ Heater/AC controls?
If they do not change, then it's the dimmer.
A rapid flicking of the dimmer knob back and forth may temporarily solve the problem.
Dimmer switches are only an ok idea.
Feel the dimmer switch sometime after you've been driving awhile. They're usually hot. Thats the switch eating itself.

Update - it *is* the dimmer switch - I managed to take it apart today. One of the "little black pieces" on the circuit board was literally blown apart. You could smell burnt circuit when you sniffed. I'll call the guy she got it from tomorrow and see about pulling one from a parts-car in the back of the lot.
I'm tempted to rig a jumper for it and just ignore the whole thing, personally.

I did not stumble on this until today. If you need help to bypass the dimmer switch let me know and I will look up the wire colors. If you bypass the dash lights will be on at full brightness, other than that no problem.
