So far the garden is looking great. I only had one kind of seed not germinate though, my Amish snap peas. Strange, they have always done so well before. Just re-planted from another pack so will see how these do.

Our cabbage is probably the strongest so far, broccoli looking great too. Corn is not too impressive though, only about 60% germination on it so far.

I know up here in S.Ohio where the weather is cool and wet, the peas had no problems. Maybe you could shade them and keep them really moist???

I am definately keep the soil more moist. This is the first year they have not germinated. Maybe they were from an old pack.

My peas too only 2 rows out of 6. It is strange because I save my seed and once in a while I will have a thin row but this year 4 rows without even a sprout. I will have to replant if I can find any open pollinated snap by the time it is dry enough to replant
