I subscribe to this monthly newsletter and it is really good. It has lots of photos from other chicken lovers and great tips. I would have posted a sample, but it is in pdf format and is very big. Best of all it is free....and I have been a subscriber since last fall, and no spam.....:-D

I just subscribed since we are very new chicken "parents", and thought it would be useful.

Tho I have done wild bird rehab in the past, it's somewhat different with "domestics" and we're looking forward to our 4 Barred Rocks becoming nice egg layers. At this point, we're trying to imprint them so they will be "pets". They are only about 2-3 weeks old; still under light, but are already taming. :-D
