Hi folks,
I just wanted to give a book recomendation. :-D Many of you may already have this book, but if you don't I highly recommend adding it your gardening/self sufficency library.
I had noticed several questions lately on seed starting and seed saving... I got to looking through my library and found this great reference book. "The New Seed Starters Handbook". I had forgotten that I had this book, as I have been lazy in the garden for the past 8 yrs or so.
I used to garden a lot when we lived in the PNW, but after we moved to the South, I'd been very slack, due to heat, snakes, and other nasties, such as Fire Ants and... sheer laziness. Anyway, this year I finally got off of my behind and started a small garden in large concrete planter that runs accross the front of our house. (it's about 100 sq. ft.) Better late than never, I guess. :mrgreen:
Anyway, it's a great book and covers a lot of info. Everything from starting seeds, to selecting and saving seeds. With just about everything in.between. Here's a link if you'd like to check it out. Enjoy! 8)
