Ahhh, rain finally

Sitting here in the midwest, no rain. Everyday, rain in the forecast, I got NONE. None I tell ya. Folks I work with say, "wasn't that a good rain we got Saturday". I got none. I was hose watering. I thought I was in Las Vegas or something. Now, Tuesday, I have rain. Lots of it. Thank You Oh Creator.

I am hoping God is waiting for me to get my beans planted and potatoes. My garden is going in kind of slow. Waiting for orders from Gurney's and Henry Fields to arrive. We planted 100 strawberry plants today. The weather is strange for Idaho this time of year. Lots of wind and no rain is unusal, at least it seems to me. I am glad you got some rain. I was just thinking today that I feel like I live in Nevada or some dry place.

I grew up in western Washington and of course, had the finger and toe webbing of all true Worshintoinians.. Well the rainy season just begun here in the Philippines and I've come to the realization that it never rained in Washington..maybe a slight drizzle .... here it RAINS..the heaviest rain you can imagine..24 hours a day and ,I'm told, it won't let up 'til September. I feel slight slits on my jaws already!
