Does anyone have pictures of their gardens they want to share? I love looking at them and will usually get some ideas on how to better my own garden from them. Just thought it might be a neat idea to do here at the Tree. :-D

I'd love to, but every time I try to upload a picture it fails. Hmmm. Will have to try something different.

And I'm not sure where my other garden pics went. I removed the cans from the tomatoes this after noon as they are about 24 inches tall now. I also docked the bottom branches off of the main stem as they were small and spindly.

Some nice pics for sure , wish we were able to plant before Memorial Day but our gardens are coming up great so far. I will post some pics later today. I notice that there are very few garden fences, we could never do that the deer , goffer and rabbits would have a feast every night LOL.

Normally by this time of year, both greenhouses would look like tropical jungles, the outside garden would be full, etc.
This year stinks.
This is our potato/onion patch. It is hard to tell from the picture, but it is 60x150 feet. The yellow blob on the right is a Tonka Dump Truck.
It was planted with 150 pounds of seed potatos, and 200 onion plants.
The fields have been too wet to plant the field corn, and even if it dried up there would not be time for it to mature now, so it won't get planted this year.
That was before the cold weather and rain, rain, never ending rain.
If I start quacking, someone please send the men with funny coats that tie in the back.

Everyone has such nice gardens! I could sit here and look at the pictures all day lol. Micah, do you have to use the greenhouses up there to have any kind of growing season long enough to make it useful to even have a garden? I would love to have that kind of set up here, but I know it would get too hot for it.
Well, here are a few pictures of mine...this first one is the south end of the garden with navy beans, purple hull peas, okra and pepper plants in cages.
http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i184/SheWoff/006-1.jpg
This one is the north end with corn, pickles on the fence with dill beside it, acorn squash and sweet potatoes, then the tomatoes. I have another garden next door but no pics yet that has the potatoes, green beans and tobacco in it.

Yes, tomatoes are iffy if not in a greenhouse - some years they have time but most they don't. Peppers, tomatillos, okra, and all that good southern food is just not possible without a greenhouse here. While 40 degree days in June are almost unheard of, 40 degree nights are not. My cabbage is about the only thing doing well this year.
Would that strange lady happen to be you?

Sorry about the pictures - husband wanted to upload tractor part photos for his old tractor and I think he deleted my garden pics. Will try to upload them again later, since it won't let me edit the post anymore.

Like this? It's 6' tall with 36" chicken wire at the bottom and 36" tall 2"X3" heavy wire on top.

This is the green beans and the peas they are the bigger stuff in the middle. The beets and carrots are the two rows in the back. They are still just sprouts. The tomatoes are in the for ground. They are just getting going too.

Here are the potatoes and onions... Both are doing really great. I've had to bank the soil on one of the varieties of potatoes already. What is interesting is they have only been in the ground for 3 weeks and have only been out of the ground for 2 weeks. They are growing amazingly.
P.S. I just took these. :-)
