How is Mountain house foods as far as edibility? I've been thinking about gettting some of this food as part of my emergency stash Some the entries seem to be awful high in sodium. I would think not a good thing in a survival situation when water could become an issue.

I loved the beef stew. The eggs and ham with peppers SUCKED.
Those are all I have tried so far.

I have eaten most of the main dinners. All of them were good.
Have not eaten any of the breakfast though. Instant eggs from anywhere suck.
I go camping to Utah or the mountains sometimes if I am lucky 4 times a year.
Most of the time its twice though.
These are what I have with me all the time.
They really fill ya up too.
My favoriets are Chicken ala King and the Chickent Stew.
Damn those are good.
I have also had the Chicken Teriyaki w/ Rice numerous times and the Spaghetti with Sauce and Meat is great as well.
Mexican Chicken w/ Rice is another favorite of mine too.

Those prices seem comparable to Walmart. I purchased a bunch of them a few weeks back, haven't tried them yet.

Is it okay to mention the 'other' board that has the group buys on MTN House and other items?
