what are your beliefs about the 'RAPTURE'

do you believe in

1. rapture BEFORE tribulation (AKA "PreTrib)

2 rapture IN MIDDLE of tribulation (AKA 'MidTrib)

3. rapture AFTER tribulation (AKA 'PostTrib)

4. there is NO rapture.

I want this to be a straight poll,,, just ansear
1,2,3 or 4.

i dont want this thread to be about WHY you
believe what you do. , i just want the bare numbers,

okay folks ?

i didnt start this thread to discuss the why's,
we can do that in another thread. i started it
to see what the spread was only.

thank you

Dead in Christ rise first.

Some elect will be captured and beheaded during the tribulation.
They will rise before the living.

All the elect living will have gone through the tribulation and be taken up at the LAST trump.

All the other trumps will blow before that occurs.

The last trump is the trump of God. It is all fulfilled then.

word Rature is not even in the Bible;

7 th trumpet. Rev 11:15-19

Rev 14: 14

Revelations 10:7
but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.

There will be a time during the tribulation in which
those of us who have accepted the Lord as our Saviour and are filled with His Holy Spirit, will change in the twinkling of an eye...

we also have to remember that Jesus came to the earth, not to preach about himself, but to preach the message of the Kingdom of God, and also his return which he left a detailed description in Revelations to us about his return...

I pray and hope for the pre-trib rapture.
Prepare as best I can for the post trib.

I voted pre-trib rapture.

That being said...sadly I believe the church in America equates a pre-trib rapture to a tribulation-free Christian life...that the Lord will rescue us before any form of persecution or tribulation occurs...which is un-biblical at best...eternally dangerous at worst.

I voted pre-trib, but actually, like you, hope for pre-trib and try to be prepared for mid or post-trib. I'm content to let the Lord decide when it's going to be.

Everything that can be shaken will be shaken.

The tribulation is designed to separate the sheep from the goats and refine the Bride for the wedding.

But please know that I treat all those trusting in the shed blood of the Lamb of God as my brethren and thus to be treated in love.

I am not a Tribulationist.

Souls go on to their eternal place in the scheme of things upon death.

 Whaddaya mean you don wanna know why? What kind of lousy setup is that, huh?

I had to vote "Mid" only because most folks can't seem to separate Jacob's Trouble from the Wrath of God, but the "tribulation" is the former, so I am technically post-trib. This does not, however, preclude our supernatural gathering to a place of safety. What most apparently do not understand is that there is NO case to be made from Scripture for a catching away or "harpazo" to the third heaven, the dwelling place of God. None. We are either caught up to meet the LORD in the air at His parousia and join Him in conquest and judgments of the Beast and his minions, or removed to join Him in this sphere for our protection prior to that, or both. I did not state we will not be changed, for we will.

It is also essential to understanding whatever position one holds that "parousia" is defined in the historic pre-NT Greek as the coming of a King or Emporer in procession and splendor (or in some cases his top general) to exercise dominion in a nation, country, or territory he has conquered. So much for secret comings. The lightning is visible from horizon to horizon, the thunder audible, the Last Trumpet audible, and every eye shall see Him.

Still, there are a number of people groups before the Throne doing different things at different times and singing distinctly different songs in the Revelation, and I do not pretend to comprehend the complete administrations of God in these things, and certainly allow of select of the elect theories and all the rest. Who am I to determine the reward of the servant of Another so far greater than I? I refer the concerned with their personal safety to Ezekiel 9 and Revelation 10, the sealing of the servant of God, with the requirements, with the concerned for their spiritual safety to John Chapter 3.

You need a 5th choice marked "I don't know" so I can answer. :D

Seriously, I lean towards the "hoping for pre- but planning for post-trib rapture" side. I'd tell you why, but you don't wanna know. :P

How 'bout a choice marked "Tell you when it's over"!

hi babysteps ,

i still laugh when i read this ,, i felt the exact
same way the day you wrote this.

i had thought of a

'ill explain it to the d.g.i.'s on the way up"
choice.

thank you for following directions and not posting
a 'why'

since i see others have ignored that,, im now
dropping that request , and opening this thread
to the 'why you believe what you believe"

here is why i believe in the rapture.

The DIFFERENCE between the
RAPTURE (harpazo, caught up) , and the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.

The Rapture is a SEPERATE EVENT in time than the Second Coming of Christ.
There are specific verses that establish this when looked at comparitivly.

Acts 17:11 , 2Ti 2:15

Rapture----------------------------------------------Second Coming

NO SIGHNS PRECEED Rapture----GLOBAL SIGHNS PRECEDE the Second Coming of Christ
1 Thessalonians 5:1-3-------------------Luke 21:11-18

He comes in the AIR--------Christ comes to the EARTH
1 Thessalonians 4:17--------Acts 1:11, Zechariah 14:4-5

ONLY His own will SEE Him------------EVERY EYE will SEE Him
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18-----------------Matthew 24:30, Revelaton 1:17

Christ comes FOR His own------------Christ comes WITH His own
John 14:3, 1 Thessalonians 4:17-----Revelaton 19:14

He comes TO His Bride (Body of Christ/Church)--He comes WITH his Bride
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18----------------------------------Revelation19:6-14

REMOVAL (dissapearance) of Church/bride/Body of Christ---MANIFISTATION of Christ
1 Thessalonians 4:17----------------------------------------------------Malachi 4:2

The Body of Christ (Church/Bride) DELIVERED from WRATH--unsaved EXPERIANCE the WRATH
1 Thessalonians 1:10,& 5:9, Revelation 3:10--------------------------Revelation 6:12-17

These verses either contradict each other, or they are seperate events, cant have
it both ways here.

There are Prophecies for the Chruch, and there are Prophecies for Israel, there are
also Prophecies for specific nations.

God has made promises (prophecies to Israel)and He is going to keep them, the confusion
comes from Christians reading verses that are directed at the nation of Israel.

The Body of Christ (Church) will not be prevailed against---saints (tribulation era) are prevailded against
Matthew 16:18------------------------------------------------------------Daneil 7:21

This results in the assumption that all these verses are talking about the same
event. As i have shown in comparrison these verses must be describing two
differnent events. On the surface they seem the same event , looked at closely
they describe two events at seperate points in time, it also places the rapture before
the tribulation.

SUBJECT of FOCUS: LORD and CHURCH---SUBJECT of FOCUS:ISRAEL's Milleniual (1000yr) KINGDOM
1 Thesssalonians 4:13-18----------------------------Matthew chapter 24

TRIBULATION begins-------------------------------(TRIB ENDS) MILLINIAL (1000yr) KINGDOM begins
2 Thessalonians 1:6-9------------------------------Revelation 20:1-7

world is DECEIVED (ruled by) an ACTIVE satan---satan is BOUND durring MILLINIUM
2 Thessalonians 2:3-12--------------------------------------Revelation 20:1-2

I am not a Tribulationist.

Souls go on to their eternal place in the scheme of things upon death.

What you said about 'souls going to their eternal place in the scheme of things upon death' is true, but has nothing to do with the Tribulation, which is a time of trouble here on this earth, in this life. So I'm a little confused as to the reason for equating the two? Some confusion with the Catholic doctrine of purgatory, perhaps? :?:

Think of it this way.

If you were running a church in a country facing nuclear destruction, how could you attract a lot of new members?
