I saved seeds. I stirred and relocated some seeds from an heirloom tomato I have in the garden...need to dry out another week before I put them in an envelope. I rubbed kernels of Bloody Butcher corn from the cobs and put on top of the refrigerator to finish drying out. Some of the poorer quality kernels I set aside to run through my wheat grinder to feed to my chickens. This corn is an heirloom-variety open-pollinated corn. I got the seed corn last fall from SheWoff right here on the Tree. We had a seed exchange and I really enjoyed it!
Oops, forgot the recipe. Actually we tried a new one this year. I like the old one immensely, kind of a no recipe thrown together batch, but my wife wanted something different. Here's the one we are trying out now. it's in the kitchen simmering down now.

Oh - forgot; got another order of non-H seeds in today. Interestingly enough they give you a free seed package with every order. Today's freebie was some root beet thing good for salads and feeding animals - wife is finally convinced to get chickens so the new seeds are quite timely.
I cut a little firewood.

two questions though. did you do that all by yourself, and if yes, who took your picture?
Yes, cut it all by myself. As far as the camera operator......C'mon you know it was Sasquatch. Gave him a beer to do it.
