Default Swiss Chard & Creamy Pasta

Wash swiss chard (I like the white kind best for flavor)
Chop it into one inch pieces

In a LARGE chicken fryer type pan melt two or three tablespoons butter and some olive oil

Finely chop a medium onion and two good sized cloves of garlic and add to
    the melted butter/oil

While this is being done put your pasta on and cook it to have it ready for when the chard mixture is completed.

Add your chopped swiss chard to the onion and garlic mixture, cook slowly over med. heat with lid on to keep juices in. Salt & pepper to taste

When your chard is cooked aldente, add two tomatoes chopped, 1/2 cup sour cream, 3/4 cup 1/2 and 1/2 cream, last add about 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese. Mix all well and when heated through, add your cooked pasta (that has been drained) to this mixture.

Taste again for salt and pepper and Serve it up. It is truly delicious.

I hope you will give it a try and enjoy. My hubby and I both loved it. AL

I think I will try this with the last of my chard. Might even put in some spinach. Thanks for the recipe.

I hope you like it. My hubby is one fussy veggie eater and he loves this. I have used spinach in it too and it is very good. I love the stalks in the swiss chard tho'
