I feed a big brood so the recipe may be too big for some. I rarely measure anything but this will get you in the ballpark.

4 lbs of 85/15 ground beef
5 slices of white bread, crusts cut off
1 cup(give or take) whole or 2% milk, the higher the fat content the better
3 shakes of werstecher(adjust to personal preference) or BBQ sauce as much as you like
Seasoned salt, onion powder, pepper
1/4 cup of vegetable oil

Cut the crusts off the bread and slice in strips or cubes
Put bread in blender and add milk and werstecher and blend. You are looking for the consistency of a really thin milkshake.

Heat your tap water because if your hands are like mine they may give you some pain because of the cold and this will help warm them up and get rid of the pain.

In a large mixing bowl, add beef and milk mix and mix together.

I weigh my patties for consistency in cooking time.

Prep grill by cleaning and then brush with oil to help prevent the burgers from sticking.

Grill temp should be about 500 or more degrees.

Form 6 oz patties and season to taste.

Place on hot grill and cook 3 1/2 min per side, cut cooking time down to 3 minutes or less per side for smaller burgers. Cook with lid closed. This cooking time is for medium to well done.

The last 30 seconds add your cheese.

Even if you cook the burgers like charcoal briquettes they will be juicy.
