I would like to add one that I found to be interesting. The Nolls are teachers. Their site is great for beginners as almost all the recipes have step by step pictures to help people learn how to can. I am not sure as to how I post a link here but I will try.

Anyone have an good recipes for canned (bottled cod). I always consider it "the poor man's lobster"...but it's very soft once canned. I don't really care for tuna casserole...but trying to think of something yummy to make....

I just made fish cakes from some freezer burned steelhead. If you add eggs, bread crumbs, sage, celery, and I used dried horseradish and some truffle salt, any soft fish is yummy.

Hmm..sounds kind of like my chicken croquet's...except I'm not familiar with truffle salt.

    Thanks Carol b!
