Living the dream, just living the dream!
Installing a large section of wire fencing to keep the chickens out of the now much enlarged raised garden bed area. Also going to try and get some small engine maintenance done on a couple of the tillers.

Celox for the med kit.
picked up another project . This is a HEART/TRACE inverter that dates to
1989 . Initially the unit would not output or charge the battery .
The unit is old enough that the tech is no longer supported by any
authorized service centers . I figured , as long as its a potential
boat anchor , might as well open her up and see whats clicken .
Initial visual inspection found a blown filter capacitor , on the charger output.
Which is not unusual . Kinda like fixing old ham radios , one expects the caps to die with age .
The other thing that i found was that the rest of the circuitry was prime .
No burnt wire traces , No blown fuses , no scorched resistors . Once i've
replaced the bad cap , we will try a PWR up test .
The other FUN aspect is , the company never released any TECH DOCS
other than owners' manuals . So , i'm shootin in the dark , so to speak..
Armed with my general knowledge of inverters , this one looks fairly typical.
Controler brd , MOSFET drivers , xfmer , circuit brkrs . Instead of a CPU ,
they used a Field Programmable Gate Array IC , which has 3,ooo odd gates.
And of course , here am I w/o a program sheet for how they configured it.
My wife canned 6 pints deer meat, 4 qts homeade tamales. Also she is a LPN and brought home medical supplies that were past their "exp date" and the Doc was throwing out.

My goodness! We are all so busy, we don't have time to write about it!
Do thou O Lord, protect us, guard us ever from this generation. On every side the wicked prowl as vileness is exalted among the sons of men.

In answer to your inquiry, I consider that the chief dangers which confront the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, and heaven without hell. —William Booth founder and general of the Salvation Army 1829-1916
