Here is the wood stove my DH built:
Our wood stove heats all of our hot water (if we needed to ever unhook the water, it would take DH only a few minutes), with two heat exchanges inside the firebox, also has a heatilator, and there is a drying rack offset to the right, attached to the ceiling (seen in next pic).
I must say,
That is the coolest woodstove I've ever seen.
There was another pic you posted a while back of it from a diff. angle which really showed the excellent detailing
TWO heat exchangers !
TWO glass windows !
And an OCTAGON, Up on a decent pillar to save your back when tending it !
It looks like something from The Nautilus Submarine in 20,000 Leagues under the Sea.
Is there any way you could let us know what kind of pipe/tubing is used at the fire/water heat exchange point? Or is it a constructed, built in steel/iron "box" that's part of the firebox walls?
Anyone that would be able to build a stove like that, HAS to have come up with a VERY good, durable, heat exchanger concept.
We burn lots of wood here but unfortunately, still are using LP for water heating.
