Thanks so much for posting this recipe. I made up a batch, tested it on Hubby, added a 3 more TBLS dark cocoa to it. Gave it to all the G-kids along with dried mini marshmallows. BIG HIT with all. Made a second batch to keep for us.

we make what we call "Snowballs":

    Hot choc. - made HOT!
add a peppermint stick to the bottom
    add Marshmellows
then a scoop of vinilla ice cream!
shot of whip cream (from a can - cause teh kid love that)
sprikle a few choc chip on top!

you can hammer is down in a few minutes cause the ice cream cool it as you drink it!

we passed out 12gallons @ halloween last year - hit of the 'hood!

Here's the combination we use and it's a family favorite! Especially now when we are iced/snowed in

    Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix

1 # instant dry milk (powdered)
    1 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 and 1/2 c. powdered coffee creamer
Mix gently or you'll have powder everywhere! Store in a container with a tight lid. To make cocoa add 1/3 cup of mix to your mug and add 1 cup of very hot water. Stir. Enjoy!
