    Default Baked Oatmeal Recipe

My Lady Mother (Limner) is not much of a fan of oatmeal in general but did enjoy this. (I have a soft spot for baked oatmeal from my days of teaching outdoor education at a YMCA camp) Anyway I love the recipe and come summer can use stuff like homegrown fruits, goat milk and homegrown eggs.

In the meantime, I halved the recipe and used fruit cocktail.

Adding in that the LDS cannery oatmeal is PERFECT for this.

yummm! I just went and looked at your recipe and this one looks like a "must-make-soon" recipe!! I really can't wait to make it-thank you for posting!

(note-to-self; get regular rolled oats the next time when doing grocery shopping. )

If I'm not going to be eating it, I add chocolate chips. The kids love that.

I just spent an hour browsing and copying from that site RMH posted. Fantastic recipes for all kinds of foods from scratch. Those vanilla cherry muffins are 1st on my list for sure.
