It is an excellent article. And the replies to the blog post are also of great value.
As an elderly lady I see the benefit of writing supplies, written and printed out estate/will's and power of attorney documents. And the importance of putting vital docs on a thumb drive in an emp resistant container.
Welcome to the tree Trident. If nothing else, this will give some folks something to do to while away the time while they're waiting. Many of us won't be aging when the teotwawki event occurs. If you have something worth reading put in on paper and protect it.

NOTHING gets easier with age. Good ideas about having various things on some form of portable media...even old fashioned paper and ink has virtues in certain circumstances.
