Ingrediants
1 lb. ground beef
two "skinned" Italian hot sausages (or pork sausage if you prefer)
One onion, diced
Four cloves of garlic, diced
Kosher salt (to taste)
Four tbl spoons of chili powder
1/4 tp. of allspice
1/4 tp of coriander
1/2 tp of cumin
1/2 green pepper, diced
One can dark kidney beans
One can pinto beans
One can petite diced tomatoes (I like the kind with jalepenos)
Two squares Dove dark chocolate
Green onion tops, chopped
Sour cream
In a dutch oven, mix & brown ground beef and Italian sausages together w/ diced onions, garlic, and green pepper.
Once browned, add dry seasonings.
Add tomatoes and beans.
Bring to simmer. Add dark chocolate and stir.
Add one cup water and allow to simmer, adding kosher salt to taste, until of a consistency you like.
Sever with a dash of sour cream, chopped green onion tops, and oyster crackers.
