Default Try this chili. (thank me later)

    Ingrediants

    1 lb. ground beef
two "skinned" Italian hot sausages (or pork sausage if you prefer)
    One onion, diced
    Four cloves of garlic, diced
    Kosher salt (to taste)
Four tbl spoons of chili powder
    1/4 tp. of allspice
    1/4 tp of coriander
    1/2 tp of cumin
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    One can dark kidney beans
    One can pinto beans
One can petite diced tomatoes (I like the kind with jalepenos)
    Two squares Dove dark chocolate
    Green onion tops, chopped
    Sour cream

In a dutch oven, mix & brown ground beef and Italian sausages together w/ diced onions, garlic, and green pepper.
    Once browned, add dry seasonings.
    Add tomatoes and beans.
Bring to simmer. Add dark chocolate and stir.
Add one cup water and allow to simmer, adding kosher salt to taste, until of a consistency you like.
Sever with a dash of sour cream, chopped green onion tops, and oyster crackers.
    Impeach the Kenyan!

Saw a recipe almost identical to this on Allrecipes.com, and passed by when I saw the chocolate.....
    Good stuff, huh?

Lots of chili recipes call for chocolate. You don't taste it but it does add a certain flavor that you won't find elsewhere.

All Cincinnati-style chili has chocolate in it. I'll try this recipe and see how it turns out.

I have seen lots of recipes with dark chocolate in them (coffee too) and have been told it adds a fantastic dimension to the flavor in the most interesting recipes.

I'm willing to give it a try. In the recipe here, I think I am going to try it with mild sweet Italian sausage instead of spicy. That way I can share it with friends who have sensitive digestive systems.

You can also boil the meat in water, then dump that water to remove the grease. Boiling it gives it a completely difference texture and much smaller bits of meat.

LOL Now you know someone will post a recipe with those things next!

I never would have thought apples and peanut butter would taste good but my kids love it.
Then of course Elvis made peanut butter and banana sandwiches famous (yuck)

OKay, Patticakes, and Em..........you asked for it.

    Peanut Butter and Tuna

    Ingredients: Servings:
    1 1

    Directions:

    Prep Time: 5 mins
    Total Time: 5 mins

    1. 1 Toast bread if desired. I like it lightly toasted.
    2. 2 Meanwhile, mix the tuna and the mayo together to make tuna salad.
    3. 3 Spread half the peanut butter on one side of one slice of bread and top with tuna salad.
    4. 4 Spread one side of the other slice of bread with the remaining peanut butter and place it over the tuna, peanut butter side down.
    5. 5 Cut in half if desired and enjoy.
    6. 6 You can mix things up a little by adding some relish to the tuna or add some crunch with slices of cucumber (cucumber and peanut butter is another favorite sandwich), onion, or diced waterchestnuts.
