Chocolate is good. Mexican condiment mole has coco/chocolate in it. Dona (can't put the tilda over the n) Marie brand is good. Also a small spot of honey is good in chili. Guessing the coco tames the hot pepper.

What OC said. Mole (say MOE-lay), from central Mexico, is wicked good.

Frankly, Jezcruzen, your recipe gigged me as soon as I got to the hot sausage. Can't wait to try it! Bet chorizo would be good, too.

The sweet-vs.-salty thang always wins me over. Next time you make tacos, put a bit of brown sugar and cider vinegar in the meat filling. BAM!

Trust me. You will like it. I add petite chopped tomatoes with jalapenos for an extra kick.

Not only can you add the Italian sausage, but regular pork sausage works, too.

The squares of dark chocolate are only about 1". I just pick two out of a Dove bag.

I really like chopping up a green pepper and throwing that in. Sometimes I use large pieces... ummmmmmmmm!

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." This is very close to what I make and yes- dark chocolate is a nuance that works crazy good.

Thanks- I will brew some up and be giddy on day 2.
