Times 7* years = 742 buckets, 742 mylar bags, 742 O2 absorbers

Yeah, you have to use iron filings or course powder to make O2 absorbers. You can't use rust because it has already absorbed the O2, and changed to rust.

Of course, course rust has it's own purposes too, like mixing with Aluminum course powder to make thermite...

It's the same way with water. Hydrogen is very flammable in the presence of Oxygen, and both are used to make water. The reason that water does not burn is that the hydrogen is already oxidized. Basically, water is burnt hydrogen. Split it back apart with one of the many methods of doing so (like electrolysis...), and you can burn it again, and again, with each time you do, it returns to water.
