    Just Over the Horizon

On this Memorial Day, remember those who have fallen in defense of our freedom and honor them with your actions.

May 25, 2015: Memorial Day (not a repeat of Monday's Memorial Day entry.)

    Enjoy!

Did Friday's chapter not get posted?
Psalms 23:1,2 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

    Very disappointing ending.
Sorry, you don't lead people up to a fantastic looking conclusion of a final battle, with a lady standing on a hill... blah blah blah,
and then the 'the battle happened and dad died'.
    Typical internet authoring.

Then talk about a sequel and you're 'tired'?
    I won't be back.
    Sorry.
“...—when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors—when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you—when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice—you may know that your society is doomed.”-Ayn Rand

    Totally agree.
    Very, very disappointing.

I guess I'm not as fussy. I thought it was both an entertaining and thought provoking story.

IMO, this wasn't just a shoot em up novel, not that it didn't have some exciting chapters.

It gave me a lot of thought provoking points that I need to use for myself.

Mud, when or if you show up with another story, I'll be here following every chapter.

Thanks for a good story and yes, your challenge to me to keep rethinking where I am and where I think we are going.

That's agreeable but we're talking about the ending. You gotta admit it sucked (sequel or no sequel). Especially compared to the rest of the story.

Unhappy You've Got to be Kidding

Yep, that's all for me too.

I loved having an episode every day (unlike those stories that are posted on an infrquent basis so that I have to go back and re-read the previous chapter to remember what is happening), but that was a very disappointing ending. It's like the author just got bored and shut the door.

Thanks for good spelling, grammar and punctuation (unlike most Internet doomer porn), but I'm moving on.
