Pressure cooked Ham Hocks
Okay, Ive gotta question for y'all....... Again, going on one of my Moms old meals..... pressure cook ham hocks....potatoes, sauerkraut....delicious....but Ive found the hocks to be too much fat and not enough meat......my idea is to use shank instead.....anybody ever have this issue?

Ham Hocks make wonderful soup broth. I've stopped buying them due to the fat and very little meat. Cost just doesn't balance out anymore.
We used to eat them all the time with sauerkraut and potatoes. It was a quick dinner and used to feed us all. No anymore.
