You want to take away the guy's gun permit...right at the time when he needs to be carrying a gun, the most! Millions of people are calling for this guy's scalp, and yet you would have him disarmed in public. The New Black Panther party has put out a $10K bounty on his head, and you would have him give up his only means of self protection??

You claim he has poor judgement, and yet there is an eye witness account that backs up his entire claim of it being self-defense? - LINK

I think when all the facts are laid before that grand jury...they will have no other choice, but to return a finding of 'No Bill'...

Then there will be a LOT of media shills and black community leaders, who are going to have to get used to the bitter after taste that comes from eating their fair share of crow.

Like I said he should be allowed to own and keep guns, but his judgement is lacking when it comes to carrying a gun, in my opinion. I don't think he should be charged with a crime because of the eye witness, but I do believe that he thinks having a gun that he can carry makes him Dirty Harry. What he did is not much different if I as a white man walked.through Harlem flashing a wad of 100's because I was carrying a gun. It is just trouble waiting to happen. You let this guy carry now with all this pressure on him, the first black that ask him for directions is going to get shot. And mark my words because of lack of judgement every CW holder in Fl is going to suffer, I just hope it stays confined to Fl and doesn't spread to other states.

Beyond the short five-item list that Tamara posted and I copied to this thread, I don't really know what happened that night. And I'm not sure she got the part about the phone call right. I seem to recall reading somewhere that Zimmerman's call was to a non-emergency, admin number and not to 9-1-1, but I'm subject to correction on that detail.

What everything revolves around is what happened in the ??? stage on that list. And once again, the people behind all the large-caliber mouths being shot off out there in the media and political world DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THEN EITHER. They are engaging in Olympic level conclusion jumping, which is in turn leading to a genuinely dangerous level of incitement.

If no one else gets killed because of the excesses of the various news media, political and religious "leaders," and assorted punditry who have engaged in such untoward behavior it will be a real surprise at this point.

According to the police report of his murder on the night of February 26, Trayvon Martin stood exactly six feet tall. In death, he has become a hundred times larger.

I believe that’s because crass opportunists are using his corpse as a political Macy’s Parade balloon.

I could be wrong, you know. Unlike a lot of mouths spouting off about the events leading to Trayvon’s murder at the hands of George Zimmerman on that rainy Sunday night in the seedy little gator-hunting town of Sanford, FL, I don’t claim to know what happened. That’s because I wasn’t there. More importantly, I don’t claim to know WHY it happened. That’s because I wasn’t inside the killer’s mind.

Yahoo was all over this story at first; all of them painting Martin as a saint and Zimmerman as a blood thirst racist "caucasian". It seems, though, that as soon as alternate, and apparently more accurate, reports from bloggers started hitting the web, yahoo quit covering it.
