Here's praying that Utah is the first...

    To SECEDE.
“...—when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors—when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you—when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice—you may know that your society is doomed.”-Ayn Rand

Demanding the return of state lands is not secession.
If ONE state secedes from the Union Obama wins and the ovens will work over time. Only non-violent protests can defeat a opressor that has overwhelming force, all sucessful subversive movements obey this rule

What a load of crap. If that were true we would still be a British colony and France would still be run by royalty. Even the founders warned us that there would come a time that the tree would have to be watered again.

Nonsense. Oppressors don't voluntarily just give up. Every hear of Syria, Iraq, Libya, or the USA?

REALLY? Too bad Washington, Jefferson, Madison et el didn't hear about this "rule". Thank GOD they didn't!
You've been listening to too much Beck I suspect.

If it's true that those federal lands are serving as undisclosed collateral on all the debt uncle scam has taken on, maybe this kind of push-back from the states will unmask that situation. It will be interesting to watch at any rate, and I'm glad to see Utah asserting itself in this way.

See http://bigthink.com/ideas/21343 for a map showing how much of various western states is federal land. The 'top ten' list, by percentage, from that site:

    Nevada 84.5%
    Alaska 69.1%
    Utah 57.4%
    Oregon 53.1%
    Idaho 50.2%
    Arizona 48.1%
    California 45.3%
    Wyoming 42.3%
    New Mexico 41.8%
    Colorado 36.6%
