I wonder if Rhodie has read it. He's from down that way.
Post a little review of the book when you get done, if you have time. I'd be interested.

    I remember,,,,,,
The farmers had the backing of the goverment for help in their protection,,,
As the UK and the UN led by Henry K. came down hard with harder sanctions farming became the most precious of industries, hence also a target for the marxist terrorist.
There will be no such help in the states,,,, stepping stones,,thats what it was all about. The U.S. was always the main target.
And now we have our very own,,,,Centrist goverment,,led by you know who.

I remember,,,,,,,,,no one here will give a crapp.

A good read now, as it was then.
    May God help us ,,,,again.

The number one food producing nation in Africa now produces nothing under a different name.

They do produce some products, with 90% of the Profits going to the ruling party members.

One thing they do produce is misery for the common man.

    I do not love it
    Nor do I fear it.
I just dread what it can do to my country.

Worth reading Grower, and for anyone else who wants some idea of what is going on with our SW Border (just the beginning) and what might happen.
It is an easy 3 to 4 hour read.

It brought back a lot of good/ and sad memories of places I had been to, patrolled and help fight for. (And will never see again.)

The truth about how a communist or socialist system always fails those it is supposedly meant to help is well told.
How the thug in chief, becomes just that.

The role of honor was hard for me, as I knew several of the farmers killed.
The Turners were mother and sister to one of my LT's Gavin Turner.
Both killed by a land mine and ambush while on one of their farm roads. (The local PATU tracked the Terrs for 3 days before losing the spoor.)

Life was hard for the farmers but as many said, it was still worth living, and fighting for.

Would I do it all again, YES with no hesitation.
If it happens here, you can count on me, no doubts at all.
And I truly fear that it will to.
As it says in my sig line

I have seen the Elephant, War and Worse,

I just dread what it can do to my country.

I made a blanket statement which I should not have. Here's the stats:
