A lot of us here on the Tree refer to the common man as either Sheepel or even the GDP. Myself included.

They really aren't that, it's just to easy to stereo type people and we really shouldn't. The average citizens are really good people, they want the best for their families, communities and Government.
They have a hard time seeing Evil for what it really is, and the many packages it's wrapped up in and presented to them as a gift.

For the average person it's hard to believe that your own Government would do horrible things like in Germany or Zimbabwe, and maybe even here.

After all the Gov was elected by the people, and should operate under the rule of law, not above it, or bend it to their own evil ends.

But that happens way to often, as we have seen time and again.
In Rhodesia the POVO (African Population, just wanted an end to the terror and the war.
They got one, The end of the War, and then the terror really started.

Germany after WWI, the people wanted an end to the run away inflation and following depression. And they got it under a very controlled life style and hate filled Government.

Here people believed in Hope and Change, so far they see very little hope.
Most (those that are awake) are now worried about the change that is coming.

Good post Rhodie,,I can feel the 'change' comming.
Its interesting when I tell folks where that mantra came from,,,,disbelief.
Of course in the US ol' Manny is looked upon as a 'saint' { a play upon words here} instead of the marxist terr that defined him.

May God forgive us all for our transgressions and show this nation his blessings,
Gods speed and prayers for us all.
    We will need it.

    minimalist,
Rhodesia was the Bread basket of Southern Africa,
Zimbabwe is no the basket case of Southern Africa.

They do produce some products, with 90% of the Profits going to the ruling party members.

One thing they do produce is misery for the common man.

I made a blanket statement which I should not have. Here's the stats:

"I'm OK if they want to limit citizens, but don't tie the hands of law enforcement," said Craft, who said he used to employ drones as part of a narcotics task force in Harris County, which includes Houston.
