    Ah... ok, I was wrong. Sorry...

    Nothing beats CornishX in terms of white meat production, although ours also generally give us 1# leg quarters, which of course are dark meat. We prefer the larger breasts, as boneless breast meat is SO versatile in terms of what you can cook from it...

    If you can, try to find out the feed conversion rate of the Cobbs... grain is SO expensive these days that feed conversion is vital. CornishX birds *generally* will give you about 1# dressed weight for 3-4# grain (it might be less... I'll have to look at my spreadsheets and see if I can give you a more solid figure. I usually only figure $$$ per pound...

    Ahhhh God's "other" country!!! Gorgeous area you are in over in B.C. I won't lie my preferance is for Newfoundland but if I had to choose a second place in Canada to live it'd probably be the B.C. area NOT Nunavet like most of my family chose!
