The gibsmedats that live in my area aren't churchgoers... of course, if they were, then I'd probably already have been burnt at the stake.

Now, here's my dealio. I've read your bible, and it clearly states in a few places that it is unchristian to take welfare. I'M not talking about asking for help from family, friends, and community charity. I'm talking about the stuff the gibsmedats are on. I'm sure you know what I mean... My question is, how can anyone who calls themselves christian be on foodstamps for very long, and if they are, why would anyone think of it as anything other than a shame on them?

Truely disabled individuals don't count in this...I'm not heartless.

I just assume if they are on foodstamps for more than a "hand up" period, then they aren't christian.

Understand, I'm coming from an outside perspective on this, and don't know anything more than what I've read in your book on the subject. Is there something I don't see?
i'm not a bible scholar, but i don't know what you are referring to.

Indeed. The mechanics of more powerful popskulls are much more complex; lighter stuff that needs no distilling? Much simpler, safer, and saner.

Jesus recieved charity from people. It wasn't forced from them. It wasn't stolen. Big difference.

Government welfare is stolen from Peter to pay Paul. Charity is freely given.

Funny I use that analogy, as it is Paul who speaks the most of working for what you get.

"there is an assumption that large numbers of the poor are criminals, not true.
there are bad apples, say 10%,but the majority are decent people, many are church-goers etc."

No, the assumptions is that 10% can and WILL overrun that majority of decent people, church-goers! They do it now to a great extent with no negative results to them, those actions will increase in brutality and intensity in a SHF situation and all those decent folks will be hiding in their homes trying to be unnoticed until their door gets busted in and there they are, not a defense weapon or idea in sight. Those decent, church-goers SEEM to be content now to just go along to get along, don't make any waves, don't get anybody riled up cause we have to live here! Piss poor attitude for survival being demonstrated now in their lives - in my opinion.

These folks have LOTS of firearms, including rifles, shotguns, revolvers, and semi-automatic guns.

    And more.

The limitation of such group discussion is that every city and every county is different.

We have to live in the city because of employment. But as cities go, I think we're in one of the best places.

Ditto for other communities with a large military presence.
Hate to say it but the last place I would want to be is near any military installations, in the SHTF...

After several weeks of degrading US military capacity during SHTF, countries around the world would love to give the USA a good spanking...

A couple well place mushroom clouds will be appearing at most military bases, when they decide the USA needs it...

No Huny, sad to say it is ignorance. It knows not skin color, creed, faith or inside joke. You didnt miss anything.

It's an indication of the cross-fertilization from TB2K to here.

The folks over there were looking for a better way to refer to Obamish Yutes, since people were getting torqued about using the term Amish Yutes...

SO we ended coming up with "gibsmedats"....

And yah it seems to be going viral....

"Gibsmedat" is actually a word in the Urban Dictionary.

"Gibs-Me-Dat" (n.) Annuities, in the form of goods, services, or material (usually welfare checks) given predominately to minorities, in exchange for their tacit agreement to reciprocate by not burning down America's cities.
