I just rub ribs with Famous Dave's Steak and Burger rub then crockpot until they are near falling apart.
Take out, drown both sides with your favorite BBQ sauce and carmalize in a broiler pan in the oven or a few minutes on the grill.

What kind of liquid to you add in the crock pot? This sounds pretty yummy.
For mine above, I don't add any liquid. The ribs make plenty of their own in the covered crockpot...in fact, it works well to render some of the fat from the meat.
It's about as simple as it gets, but they are good BBQ ribs. The rub and the slow moist cooking gives them a lot of flavor.
Ok! I will be sure to try this. Thank you.
I tried Parakeet's recipe and boy!!--was it good. Cooked the ribs in the solar oven after browning them, and they were so tender. What a great way to cook mushrooms too. Thanks Parakeet.
