    Default e-book lending library

it was asked if we could start an e-book lending library

if anyone has an e-book they want to borrow, or if anyone is willing to loan an e-book, post it here

here are the instructions (per bbkaren) on how to do it

    thanks bbkaren!

    1. "Borrowing" from Amazon, has to take place from the KINDLE. You have to be in a wireless signal, then you go to "Shop in Kindle Store" then under "Books" you have to open it up to "See All Categories" and you'll find the "Kindle Owner's Lending Library".
    2. "Lending" to someone else, takes place on amazon.com/accounts at "Manage your kindle". when the lending form is completed, the book's title on the kindle will change to "On Loan".

Allegedly, the recipient doesn't need a kindle in order to read it (just like the other kindle books).

    My pleasure -

Hmm, I'm not sure how many books each person can lend out. I'll look into it.

It appears that you can lend out more than one.

But not all book publishers allow us to lend their books.

AND the ones who do, it appears most of them only allow it to be loaned out once, for 14 days.

I think you need email and account info too. But I'm game. I have Patriots if anybody wants to borrow that one.

Deuteronomy 6:5-7 And thou shalt love YHWH thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Deut, I've got Adrian's War - pm me your email address and I'll see if Amazon will let me loan more than one at a time. The form pulls up fine, so far...
