Default Is there an App for scanning books of my personal library

Is there an App for scanning books of my personal library?

I was wondering if there was an app that one could use to put together a list of books I own?

I would like the ability to scan bar codes and possibly put the list into Excel.

It would be a benefit for me in many ways.... time saver in entering everything by hand, knowing what I have, and what I want or need.

Any experiences would be helpful. Overwhelmed when doing engine searches.

Check Readerware - I think they've added a mobile app. I have clients who use them to catalog huge inventories of books and other media.

If you google book scanning, you should come up with a list that includes at least 1 free application. I know they are out there because local booksellers use them all the time.

Did you pick one? I see Readerware is for sale, but I also would prefer a free app at least for starters.
I found a bunch of options, considering trying one or two. Let me know if you find something you like. Some of them seem to allow scanning the barcode and will automatically download cover art, etc. like Gracenote does for music.
