Talking thanks she wolf for your support

I have only sold 69 books so far in November. I am convinced amazon kindle select has a computer glitch that is under reporting sales for thousands of authors. It is called kindlegate and is starting to get some media attention.

I am okay to January 30th 2013, and then I am so screwed. All thanks to amazon and their incompetent compter staff!

I so appreciate the free and inexpensive kindle books. It gives me lots of reading, but maybe I don't care to have the paper book. Kindle gives me the opportunity to judge the book as to whether or not I should purchase the paper book. And purchase them I do that I deem valuble to us.

Default Attn Homeschoolers & History folks -lots of free history stuff 12/25

I really wanted to post this as a new thread and any mod is free to do so - today Nov 25 -there are tons of free history stuff on the Kindle site for free. This includes both classical works (entire histories of Herodotus), history books on ancient civilizations (Cambridge library series), ancient mythologies (Mexico, Peru, Middle East etc) books on the histories of the Middle Ages, The Eastern Roman Empire, Assyria, Babylon etc.

Also translations of the Odyssey, works by Plutarch etc..

And a complete copy of Dickens: A Christmas Carol

There were also several books by Sigmund Freud (I didn't down load those but they are there if you need them) and other "classics" of anthropology and related fields like "The Golden Bough"

I have no idea if these will be free for more than one or two days - but this is an excellent chance to get a huge chunk of your entire High-School/College Prep history library text material if you are a home schooler or just like me very interested in history (especially ancient history and the Middle Ages).

A good site to use for searching Kindle books is: http://www.ereaderiq.com/free/

More stuff today - they seem to be on a roll - my guess is a combination of wanting people to get Kindle readers for Christmas and a lot of classic texts (mostly public domain) just getting Kindle formatting.
