    Default The pot bubbles

All bets for the so called cease fire are off when Israel blows up that Iranian ship.

Israel could wait till the ship is offloaded and try to stop the missiles once they get to Sinai. Of course, now that Obama has sent US special forces into the Sinai we will get into firefights with the armed militants protecting the shipments. Yep, Obama, Hellary, and Bibi bought some time is all. Not much, depending on how fast and how long Egypt stays in crisis. Doomer Doug notes there was yet another armed militant attack on yet another Egyptian border post.
The war with Iran is on. Syria is in chaos. Hezzbollah is preparing for war. Israel is always prepared for war. The UN will likely approve a Palestinian "state" by the end of November.

Enjoy the ceasefire gang. It will last until Hamas has rearmed with thousands of the long range Iranian missiles. After that, the deluge will start.

Magic Wand Missile Defense System Test a Success
Magic Wand is designed to prevent more sophisticated long-range missiles with guidance systems, such as cruise missiles, from striking Israel. It is believed that Hizbullah possesses some of these missiles, which have ranges of up to 300 kilometers.

Default Stray bullets from Syria hit Israeli border patrol vehicle-army

JERUSALEM, Nov 25 (Reuters) - An Israeli military border patrol vehicle was hit by stray bullets fired from Syria in the Golan Heights on Sunday but there were no casualties, a military spokeswoman said.

The incident was the latest apparent stray firing during gunbattles in Syria between the forces of President Bashar al-Assad and insurgents who have been fighting a 20-month-long civil war.

"Gunfire hit a patrol vehicle along the border but caused no damage; a complaint was lodged with the United Nations which is investigating," the spokeswoman said.

Israel has been on high alert along its northern border as the insurgency throughout Syria has spread to villages and towns nearby. Similar spillovers from fighting have alarmed other neighbours of Syria, including Lebanon and Turkey.

The U.N. has a peacekeeping force in the area monitoring a ceasefire in place since the 1970s. Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria in the 1967 war and later annexed it in a move never recognised internationally.
Technically, Syria and Israel are still at war, but the Golan, a strategic plateau, has been largely quiet for decades.

Last week Israeli troops fired artillery shells into Syria in response to a number of incidents in which mortar shells and bullets hit Israeli military and civil installations on the Golan Heights.

That ship is going to get sunk. Weapons with it. Much easier than trying to mount a proper raid into Sudan proper.

Iran will scream where is that ship what happened to it?!

    *Crickets...

Me thinks a few Starry Eyed Dolphins may be working to set up a solution to the problem.

United by a common threat: Israel, Egypt and Hamas all fear Iran and its Islamic Jihad proxy in Gaza

Some analysts believe that the bedrock of the recent ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is a shared fear of Iranian influence
