Has anyone looked at the psychotropic drugs all the shooters were using?

Just found this documentary posted at WRH, watched part of it so far. Just about all of these mass killers turns out to have been on them.

There are no absolutes in life. Everything humans create, discover or utilize has
potential for both good and bad. Psychotropic drugs are no exception. What is
the issue is not the use of these drugs which admittedly get over prescribed, after
all it's easier to just throw a pill at a problem than it is to address many of the under
lying issues that make unhappy people seek chemical support, the issue is poor patient
supervision. A small portion of mental health patients simply CANNOT be trusted to take
their meds as prescribed, even with meds they are unstable and chaotic.

In older days the majority of these people would be sequestered by their family's ala Boo Radley. They would be under the direct supervision of their family's including male relatives. Lanza only had his mother to keep an eye on him. Specifically his father was
absent....divorce is hard on all kids and can easily push a fragile mind past the edge.

Many would have been institutionalized, doing the "thorazine shuffle" limits access to weapons and society pretty effectively.

The issue is of course not guns and it's NOT about SSRI's or other psychotropic drugs.
It's about the lack of family and social support young people lack and the reliance on meds
in lieu of correct and appropriate care. We need to seriously address mental health issues
in this country, not just throw chemicals at it.

it's pretty funny how big Pharma has convinced a large number of Americans that they are abnormal and need their meds,when in fact abnormality is the human condition.

Well in their defense, there's abnormal and then there's bat sh*t crazy abnormal! But yeah I know what you mean if your different in anyway it's a problem, truth be told this mentality goes back a good hundred years or so in the states with the whole melting pot homogenous society meme that was preached to us via the public school system.
