Default Would you pay over $35,000 for this car?

That was the sticker price of the Mustang GT I saw in the Staples parking lot. The invoice said the car was assembled in Michigan, the engine came from Canada, and the transmission was made in China. That would scare me off for sure. If I have to spend that kind of money for a car, I don;t want something made with slave labor by an enemy.

And THAT was the CHEAP model GT......

The full blown, full bore GT runs 50K with options...

Remember the days when a Corvette was $4,000 and a Mustang was $2,500? Them's was the days....

I was at a stop light yesterday and saw a bright yellow, later model, sporty car waiting at the light perpendicular to me. The view of the front was obscured and all I could see was the side which had that signature rectangular indentation of a Mustang. I thought, "That must a new Mustang." Then he got the green and proceeded and it was then I saw the front and realized it was a Camaro. So Chevy took the side design of a Mustang and stuck it on a Camaro. That's pathetic.

You realize that 4K won't buy half a brake job for a current corvette right???

I cannot imagine paying that much for a vehicle. There are so many vehicles that run fine for less than $3k that are available to you today. If it was some sort of investment that would appreciate in value, or it was a work vehicle that would return income back to you, then perhaps I could understand.
