Every word ever uttered by Kerry has been a self serving lie, even his initials are a lie
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

Actually, no. The production of 22LR has increased, but since it is sold in much higher volumes and lower prices, the public buys it in MASS QUANTITIES. Thus, the production is consumed almost immediately.

Ex: Not many people walk into a sports store and buy a 500rd brick of 223/9mm/40/45 etc, but this is nothing for a person buying 22's. A 1,000rd box of 5.56 M855 at W-World is $449, but 1,000rd of 22LR, when in stock, can be had for $40-45. Similarly for various other calibers vs 22's, so you can see how quickly people can and do consume every 22LR around vs other items. PRICE is a big factor for many people, so they are going the cheaper route for training and survival stocking.

Another example: Many of the local shooting events have changed from using center fire ammo to 22LR, and this is to help keep up participation and reduce everyone's cost.
The days of single afternoons of blue collar individuals burning through 200-250 rds of $4.99/bx 9mm, 3.99/bx 5.56 and 7.99/bx 45acp are long over, and many in the shooting world are seeing the decline in participation.

^^^THIS^^^ is the operative thought and understanding at this time. Kerry can sign the toilet paper if he so chooses. Without ratification, he is barking up a dead tree.

Famous caveat time: While the risk is fairly low, we must watch for an Obama Special...a 3am Senate quorum with just enough "friends" (Democrats) to make it legal...ram the treaty through... and we get the bad news in the morning how "heroic" Senate Dems struck a mighty blow against future gun violence.

Yes, a tad tinfoilish but just a thought for future reference.

Crazier things have happened, with greater rapidity, go look up how the hughes amendment was passed (banning civilian ownership of full autos made after 1986). means to an end for the communists.

When they come for your guns, give 'em the ammo first.

It is illegal to have a gun registry in the united states per our u.s. constitution.
