Hmmm, that's odd, I usually get an alert email from the USGS on any quake larger than 5.0. Nothing so far.

Tsunami warning has been issued after a strong 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck near the Solomon Islands in the southwestern Pacific Ocean.
Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued an expanding regional tsunami warning for the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea.
The epicenter of the quake was located 324 kilometers south-east of the Solomon Islands capital Honiara at a depth of 10 kilometers, PTWC said.
